He doesn’t suit four at the back as he ain’t quick enough, a good player who has done a fine job for us.
Certainly a hugely successful signing. I wouldn’t be writing him off just yet. He still looked our best defender earlier in the season. But in a back 4 he now appears to be 5th choice and that’s a lot of bodies to get past to get a game. He’d still be a nailed on starter in L1 for a couple of seasons though.
With all due respect to McFadzean, who’s been superb for us throughout, in hindsight we would have been in a much better position today if we’d let him go after the playoff final.
If I was to keep any of the old guard on as staff it would be him.

Being a great club player does not always correlate with being a great coach. I'm looking at you Rooney Gerrard and LampardAgreed, I think he’d make a great coach

Though in retrospect he'd have been fine today so lacking in threat were OxfordAgreed

My finest SBT moment. We’ve had some bang average Centre backs over the last 10 years but this guy would head a brick. Loved him.McFadzean's got a funny face. He looks like he's started to melt a bit and then been put straight in the fridge.
Even Kelly didn’t get any minutes today. His time is also up.

Shame he didn’t tooFeel for him. He only lost his place when his mum died, but hard to see him getting back in ahead of Kitch/Thomas/Binks/Latibeaudiere at the minute.
Shocked he didn't get any minutes yesterday
