Just seen on SSN that Blackpool have signed Lomano Lua Lua on a free transfer until the end of the season after being released a few months back.

Surely Dulieu apparently leaving 'no stone unturned' would mean that we would be looking to hijack or try to replicate deals like this but apparently not?

Another case of actions speak louder than words.

Wages would be a fair size and probably out of our price range anyway. I would also suggest that he's crap! Never rated him, he's getting on now and he's been playing in the Cypriot league.

How can anyone seriously compare us with Blackpool with the finances. They have just left the Prem and are getting parachute payments. They also did not pay inflated wages whilst in the Prem so will be doing well financially. Wheras we are...................

Not comparing us with Blackpool financially. Can't see Lua Lua demanding a high wage as it is only a one year deal and is most probably pay as you play. Also, Blackpool being a club that pride themselves that don't offer ridiculous wages suggests it isn't such a big money move.

They had a max wage in the Prem of 10k.

We have a max wage now of 10 quid.

I can see it being more than that to be honest. There's no way Phillips will have gone there for £10k. Either way, £10k would be more than we can afford and they are now, financially, very well off thanks to not going stupid in the prem and the parachute payments.

We're probably not actually interested in every player available. Shocking.

Every ? You mean any ? Kightly for example. Would walk into our team and Wolves preferred for him to go to a Midlands team and we say we don't want him. I'm not getting at this specific player, it's the point behind it. We're not doing anything.

I don't think a winger would walk into a team that doesn't play with wingers; especially one who's not match fit.

David Bell ? And also he can play up front.

Nah, Bell's not really an out and out winger. Best suited to a 5 man midfield in the central 3 I think.

If Kightly can play up front then maybe would've been worth a shot.

To be honest finding it hard to care right now and wish I didn't have a season ticket forcing me to turn up on Saturday.

Luckily I have nothing better to do so just something free to fill my day, not feeling too hopeful though

Thing is if you're criticising the club when every Championship club signs a player while we don't, you'll be racking up the threads at a riotous pace.

If we were being linked with Lua Lua it'd be a different story surely?
