Can't help thinking that if we avoided defeat against Crewe we would make JPT final and if we had beaten Yeovil we would have been on course for the play offs and MR would stay on at least till the end of the season. These 2 results plus the discussions MR had with JS, are the reason he will leave.
7 days ago everything was rosey, now everything is in tatters.
MR surely has confidence in the players and himself to still make the play offs, but I fear that what JS has told him is what we have suspected for a long time ie Admin, points deduction, embargo and ground share.
I only hope he spills the beans and tells the fans the truth.
As for a new manager, the club will not appoint anyone in my opinion. Oggy/Carsley will be put in charge until they switch the lights off.
Shame really, for the first time since being relegated from the Premier, I had faith in the way things were going under MR.

I agree i think something has happened or is about to happen behind the scenes. I think we would all agree the clubs that Mark has been linked with in the last few months are all smaller clubs.

So he would leave for a few reasons, Money, the chance to move closer to home? , or he knows something we dont and wants out!!

I reckon its the third reason, dont think the last two results would have alot to do with it.

My biggest fear is this could completely finish our season, which is a shame as its been such a positive one.

Losing 4 times since the turn of the year, drawing a blank on each occasion and being one of the few teams not to beat Preston probably hasn't helped. Maybe he realised our squads limitations...

He would likely have applied for the job before the Crewe game. Huddersfield confirmed at the weekend that everyone under consideration had applied for the role. To me it explains why every club without a manager has shown an interest - he has applied for every other job going whilst he has been here. Wish everyone would stop trying to give him an excuse, he has betrayed us in this case.

Not making excuses for him, showed his true colours. Judas
