Do you think we would be back in Coventry if we were selling out in Northampton like Fisher thought we would?
Difficult one that. Probably not.
I think there's been some blurring between the group NOPM who I agree had little impact and the general feeling of "fuck this shit I'm not giving them my money" which some summed up as NOPM.
Fisher would have known we wouldn't sell out. We were barely getting 10,000 at the Ricoh.
We wouldn't be back at all if wasps hasn't bought the ground.
So now your saying CCC were right to sell to Wasps. Interesting.
Pretty much. NOPM made a few people feel all special and clever though so there's that.

As did backing the JR for others, like they were more intelligent than others because they thought there was a case to answer to.

No cant see where I've said that.
me angry never you are the one calling everyone twats ?so angry and so misguided. its only a bit of football.
Just remembered when letsallsingtogether joined a few years ago and I called him 'letsallmongtogether' ha, good times.
There was a case to answer for. On all sides. We got some answers but not enough. I would like more answers from all sides.
Well if we wouldn't have been back at all unless Wasps brought the ground that must mean that no one else was going to buy it so CCC must have been right to sell to the only show in town to stop a public asset becoming the worthless white elephant you kept insisting it was.
By the way I love the way you say "Fisher would have known WE wouldn't have sold out" like you didn't.
I guess people need to make their minds up. Did we come back because of NOPM or was it because of Wasps? Was it temporary or was it permanent? Seems to change all the time to suit that conversation.
Without going back through all of that again, surely if that was the main reason we would have come back close season rather than mad rush a couple of games in?
Well the council could have offered the deal the offered wasps....it's obvious as acl were going bust that the business was unsustainable. They didn't want to sell to the club and the club wouldn't want to rent off them at a rent level that would have made acl sustainable.
Despite people's assertions fisher is an idiot he isn't. He would have had to have been an imbecile to believe that for obvious reasons. They budgeted for 3,000 and that was optimistic but not impossible.
Most were not NOPM - it was just a pain to go to Northampton every other week

Ha, it genuinely was pretty good times compared to the last few years!

3000?
Did you see the TF video where he was laughed at by the audience. Most on this forum will see your post in the same nature.
Keep up the good work
Oh to go back to the days where we could talk about football. We could have banter and not get wound up by it. At least we have learned about legal procedures and found out what a JR is

We could still talk about football ie the fixtures come out yesterday yet is a much smaller thread than this thread which discusses a meeting which took place that a bunch of monkeys attended.
I 100% agree with you, to get credibility it needs completely refreshed and for people involved to be put forward not either hand picked or invited.
Cannot disagree with this but how do we get the message accross to the board/committee that it is not fit for purpose and not giving a true representation of the fans views.
Fisher's views on the crowd figures he expected at Sixfields can be seen on this video (starts at 1min 39secs)

I guess you would need an existing member to propose it. Of course the risk would be those who fear they may no longer be involved might try and block it.
So we have no chance of changing as I am sure most on the little group enjoy the feeling of power.

i certainly would not volunteer to go on it as I cannot afford the time I would spend in jail after throttling the chair of the group
