BREAKING: #ACL spokesman tells me #CCFC will not be barred from playing at #Ricoh @covtelegraph

I expect the next step will be for Fisher to announce the rent agreement to be null & void and they are playing elsewhere on Saturday.

The journalist @darrylejoemurphy has tweeted: "BREAKING: Records I've seen show 'Coventry City FC Ltd' (company which has gone into admin) owns its Ft Lge share"

Can't see us avoiding anything less than a 10-point penalty if CCFC Ltd holds the golden share that grants league entry.

How can sisu wiggle out of it, based on ccfc not ccfc holdings. Surely that's the sneakiest loophole going... How can they be judged by anyone as good honest and fit for purpose.

@skybluelee - football league meeting to decide on points deduction, ACL meeting to discuss if allowing CCFC to play at the Ricoh or not, we're all left to play the waiting game unfortunately.

keep an eye out on here cos there's always someone with better knowledge that can put things into simple terms for the likes of you and me

Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 16m
Appears @Coventry_City are locked in legal talks with @football_league. Both sides not able to say much #skyblues #pusb

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 19m
.@Coventry_City making it clear - they never said they 'wouldn't' have 10 points deducted. But at the moment, no points deduction #skyblues

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 38m
Struggling to see how @Coventry_City will avoid a 10 pt deduction. Cov City FC Ltd, the firm registered with @football_league, is in admin

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 40m
.@football_league unable to comment on situation at the moment for legal reasons #skyblues #pusb

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 43m
BREAKING: Records I've seen show 'Coventry City FC Ltd' (company which has gone into admin) owns its Ft Lge share

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 59m
Re: reports @Coventry_City could play their home matches at St Andrews - @BcfcDotCom has told @thegoalzone they 'know nothing' about it

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 1h
Today's hearing at the High Court will be legal formalities. Only a lawyer and barrister will be there from ACL #skyblues

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 1h
I'm told ACL have NOT threatened to kick @Coventry_City out of the @Ricoh_Arena and have no intention to. Want club to stay. #skyblues

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 1h
.@football_league would also insist the #skyblues set a date for moving back to the city. #pusb

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 1h
Re: playing at another stadium - @football_league would also have to give permission for that #skyblues #pusb

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 1h
Ludicrously busy morning. Re: the #skyblues - @football_league could be crucial here. Could still decide there should be a 10 pt deduction

Darryl Murphy Darryl Murphy ‏@darryljoemurphy 1h
Special news bulletin with the latest on the #skyblues crisis at 8am on @jdfreeradio #pusb

Depends how old the records are, for example there is big difference between having transferred the share 6 weeks ago to having transferred the share 24 months ago.

Either way if it was with 'Coventry City FC Ltd' at one stage it isn't now!

Editted bcos isn't it CCFC Holding in admin and CCFC Ltd that isn't so as such if the share is with CCFC Ltd then they are ok?

Sure Southampton had 15 points deducted when they tried a similar stunt. Either way cant see the Football League letting SISU get away with this otherwise its 'game on' for every club up & down the country to do the same

I thought his tweet was suggesting the golden share was still with CCFC Ltd. But, yes, if the record he has been shown is now an old one that might make a difference.

Southampton slightly different in that they transferred the golden share to the holding company and put the football club into administration where as we have put the holding company into admin but again who knows what the FL will make of it.

I thought this is what people wanted? The company put into administration is the same one that the council wanted to anyway.

Nobody wants that...but some accept it, if it is the price we pay to get rid of SISU. How many times?? Why can't you understand that?

They have'nt even decided on Portsmouth points deduction let alone city's, I would think the football league are meeting to evaluate what they said to SISU before they applied for administration. If as stated the Golden share is in the company that has gone into Administration they would have told SISU that there would be a 10 point deduction. So either SISU accept this or they were told that there would be no points deduction. I think the football league are meeting to see if they can change their rules to prevent anyone else doing it, refer to the Leicester case when they went into administration! the rules were changed but not retrospectivly

Surely the golden share can't be moved from one company to another without League approval? If they've received approval, then as others have said, the League is complicit with what's been happening.

I have posted that we could get 15+ points deduction if carried over to next season. The least we will get is 10 points deduction this season.

But it's not why there was a court hearing today....the hearing today was ACL's idea which was trumped last night by SISU....they had no respond to it today, hence adjournment!

If people want to take the chance of maybe getting rid of SISU when we go into administration they are idiots.
