But...... are you wearing your boosters under the tongue??I am actually wearing my 21 year old Rockports to work today. Been re soled and They come out for the Snow in case I get stranded on the way home. Been up Snowdon and a few other mountains in them. They're great.
Keep you warm for a minute though.Wrap up and bring a decent size hip flask. Just make sure you can have a piss easily tho as you dont want to be pissing on your best strides.

Went to Arsenal in the ,70's and the locals all brought newspapers to stand onDon't neglect the feet when stood or sat on concrete two or three pairs of socks. Lots of thin layers are better than thick. A hot drink before you go out to keep your core temperature up. Gloves and hat.

Snow stopped. All main roads ok. All roads clear around Lincoln too apparently. All good to go.
M1 in Northampton was good fun at 4pm last night. Amazed at the Audi’s and BMW’s doing 70 in the snow filled outside lane.Yeah, I drove from London to Yorkshire last night. Anything north of the M69 junction was pretty much clear and as good as normal. South of that was interesting.

On my way back from decathlon at about 5ish yesterday afternoon, on the dual carriageway between the Tollgate island and the A45, (the one that runs behind alselly park golf course) about half way down it when 2 youngish lads in a sprinter appeared out of nowhere, sat right on my bumper til he got bored and flew round me. Give me a right look too as if he was put out I was making him drive slowly. Half expected to find them further up the road in the central reservation.
