Why would it be controversial
We're charging £37 to watching bloody Norwich on Saturday, the same price for one of the big 6 is hardly unreasonable.
We played them in the championship at the then RicohCrystal Palace?
No, I only got into away games after I moved away from Coventry a year ago, probably because I got used to travelling nearly 2 hours for every home game. Before then, I’d typically do a handful away days in a season.Didn't attend the minus 8 degrees game in L1?

Maddison seems like a prick from what I've been told by everyone who knows/met him, nor does he ever talk about City since leaving us.. pretty sure he was a Man U fan anyway growing up
No agenda just saying.. I've always seen him say in interviews that he supported Man U and there's loads of vids of him wearing a man utd shirt as a kid etc but never a cov one! But interesting I will try and find those examplesSomone has an agenda!
There are plenty of instances of his referencing us since leaving if you look hard enough from referring to McSheffrey as his favourite player when he was growing up, or his pleasure at scoring the winning goal against Villa because of his CCFC connections, or referring to us as as the team he supported on a blog that was referred to on this site earlier in the Summer.
After years of watching crap finally a proper team I don’t care how much they charge.
£37 would be controversial, even for Doug's standards.
Unless, like with the Oxford FA Cup game, he charges ST holders £30 and normal fans £37.
Except it was L2 - the coldest I've ever been!Didn't attend the minus 8 degrees game in L1?

Agreed. I remember the steward giving me the old rub down making small talk and asked what score I thought it was going to be, my reply was just a simple "as long as it's not 0-0". Thank god for that McNulty penalty!Except it was L2 - the coldest I've ever been!
Not a chance.Nightmare for me. Missus bday on the 18th! Desperately hoping it will be scheduled for 17th!
Not a chance.
Give her a ticket with a bow around it
We thought that when Clive Allen scored after 90 seconds too. Fight til the game is wonThat cup game at WHL….that 87 replica kit we wore felt very tinpot. Bale scored in front of us after about 10 minutes and it was all over from then on.

Just don't get how you can be a cov lad born and raised as well as play for the academy and club but not support us, but anyway my point is more about the people who someone mentioned earlier about being happy for him when Incester won the FA Cup, like why? He doesn't play for us any more or care about us, when he plays against us at the CBS why should he get some kind of special attention, I liked him when he was a player for us yes but that's it, same with when O'hare or Gus plays against us later on in the season.Does it matter who he supports?
That’s very nice of them glad we can be squeezed into their schedule.Coventry City away in Carabao Cup third round | Tottenham Hotspur
We have been drawn away to Coventry City in the third round of this season's Carabao Cup.www.tottenhamhotspur.com
Spurs seemingly confirming Wednesday 18th September.
I believed you but needed to see this with my own eyes. It's scandalous. By the rules, Tottenham’s financial gain from the match is greater than ours: Carabao Cup RulesI've just been reading how the gate money is split. 45% each team and the remaining 10% into a pot. That pot is then split 50/50 between the PL (20) & FL (72).
I may well be missing something here, but how will they earn more out of the game than us ?I believed you but needed to see this with my own eyes. It's scandalous. By the rules, Tottenham’s financial gain from the game is greater than ours: Carabao Cup Rules

At the end of the competition, the 10% paid into the pool account is split 1:1 between Tottenham and the other 19 Premier League teams and us and the other 71 EFL teams.I may well be missing something here, but how will they earn more out of the game than us ?
I watched the 87 cup final today for the first time in a very long while!! I never realised how immense Trevor Peake's performance was in that game. Has there ever been a better centre-half display by a Cov player? His game stats must have been off the chart.
3-2 home win. Udogie's knee og. I can FEEL it
No, they beat us 3-0 in a cup game at HR and then again at WHL.Was the 3-2 at Highfield Rd the last time we played them in a cup game?
A repeat of that would do.
Yeh remember that home one. Shortly after relegation wasn't it? Remember thinking the gulf between the teams was massive and how bad we'd got so quickly. No, they beat us 3-0 in a cup game at HR and then again at WHL.

Tottenham of course is beautiful
I lived there for a while in the 90s and can confirm this. Once you’re tired of Bruce Grove, you’re tired of life!Tottenham of course is beautiful
