Very interesting that nice one.

"But all our competitors are spending money and we're not...."

Yes, hence why i looked into exactly what we're missing out on. Seems mainly charlton are the ones to buy with intent on Nicky adjose and josh Magennis. Over 1million.
Reality is we spent in line with the rest of the league.

It's the clubs fault. They went overboard trying to justify the Madders sale as some great piece of business that would allow us to push on, when one reality it was just meeting bills after they fucked up the budgeting.

It's hardly a surprise a bunch of fans are wondering where our new team of players bought with the Madders cash is.

The more relevant question is players signed by each club in this window?

No, no, no. It's definitely the fans fault.

Newcastle and villa income / spend is frightening in championship.

Parachute payments should be no more, clubs have more than enough equity in their players to sell one or two and survive, which after all, was what they payments were for.

Villa have a net -£33m spend this window. How can that be right ?

Scunthorpe, Oldham, Oxford, Luton and Stevenage all spent undisclosed fees on final day.

But teams at this level spend mainly on wages....no such thing as a free lunch.

That is nothing to what Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea etc., are writing off each year.

I sometimes don't think I want Coventry back in top flight, our horrendous debt would barely buy a player let alone pay a wage!

The Maddison money may well in part cover fees for Turnbull & Jones and helped cover running costs. That's fine.
