I inserted a '?' did I not? Any need for 'clown' or attempted sarcasm?

January just gone? If you were, I agree but my statement was regarding previous seasons. 'Good effort though'

Sorry, I thought you were being a dick saying he spelt it wrong. My bad.

Frustrating more than anything that we aren't competing. Maddison money? The promise that money was to be re-invested in the team with any attendance over 11,000. Another load of bollocks sprinkled over us by the scum.

You were talking about maddison too?

lol no not in this instance, I'm only a smart Arse when I know I'm 100% right

I hadn't intended to go as far as the Maddison deal if I did although that sale did leave a bitter taste, more so the timing than anything else. Right now it looks like a good bit of business but time will tell I guess. I'm better off not even thinking about SISU's management of the club never mind spouting about it, usually veer off into all sorts of random tangents

Saying we had a top 6 budget in this tin pot league shouldnt be used to give credit to our owners. The only reason we had a top 6 budget is because our club had a top 6 gate plus sales of players.
Sisu didnt put their hands in their pocket to give us a top 6 budget.

Im not saying we need to go silly and spend beyond our means but no investement at all by our owners signals no interest in the club or its future as to get out of this crap league we need to invest

With respect it's you who said its £60 million of debt and the club was sold for £1

I would suggest you actually back up these statements with some firm evidence.

Or admit you were bullshitting.

Or admit that I was stating they bought the club on the cheap (ish), expected promotion, then recoup their investment plus take a nice slice of profit?

That's why they maybe wanted to own a football club? That was my reply to Otis' question.

Sensible question now. Are there any other clubs in this league or above whos owners arnt prepared to put any money in their club and openly state that the club must be self funding.

I personaly cant see why sisu want to own a football club when they have no interest in making it sucesfull.
Whats the reason for wanting to own us ?

No, but are a certain section of fans fussed about that? Nope.

Didnt Andy Turner say the budget has been reduced despite the JM sale? How does that work?

So we are the only team in the league who's owners don't put money in and try and run it as balanced? (Money was put in last year also)

The majority of clubs in this league are reliant on self-funding ffs

The facts are here if you wish to look at some very old posts. The debt accumulation in the master fund and all the tie ins with Ransons pro zone company and subsequent loans are the amounts plus the subsequent funding in the first 3 years.

You said they "got it on the cheap" even though it was:

Homeless and paying £1.3m in rent
Losing money running into the millions every year
Had an already declining average attendance
Had been in the Championship for some time with limited potential for promotion

How much was it worth?

Apparently £8 million

I just think its insane that they payed that much for it when they could have bought it after administration.
