Don't see it being such a big gap.
Regardless, without an out an out 20-goal a season striker, City will go nowhere.
1) Finish in the top 2 positions
2) Finish 6th+ and win the play off
3) Score lots of goals and concede many less
4) Win lots of games
5) State the bleedin obvious
sorry stu couldn't reisist
:facepalm:He he - sorry was a bit obvious, but you look at the last 2-3 years: -
Last season - Southampton (Lambert 21), Brighton (Murray 22), Peterborogh (CMS - 27),
2009/10 - Millwall (Morrison 20), Norwich (Holt 24), Leeds (Beckford 25)
2008/09 Leicester (Fryatt 27), Peterborough (CMS 23), Scunthorpe (Hooper 24)
It does seem a league where a lot of goals are scored and over the past 2-3 years there have been 5-6 strikers scoring 20+ league goals.
Goal Scorers next year,
Cody - 28
Mcsheff 14
Baker 13
How encouraging given our striking record this season.
I watched Exeter City vs Sheffield Wednesday this season, very poor quality. We should do all right, top 6 at least
How encouraging given our striking record this season.
Has anyone else watched any 3rd tier english football in the flesh?
I've been to About 5 matches in the last ten years, and it's very poor. I'd say the gap between championship and lge 1 is the biggest in England. Lge1 lge2 on top of non lge are all pretty similar.
Make ur own minds up as to whether this is good or bad!
Is there a shortage of vowels in the league down there?
next season is about rebuilding!
Getting everyone going in the same direction (Board, Manager, Players, Fans etc)
Get this right and next season will be alot more enjoyable than this season!
if you look at the scores after about 20 mins theres normally a goal in every game by then.
