'Stop being negative about everything Grendel and abusing your own players'
Grendel's response: '......tripe like Bakayoko.....'
Says it all.
So I didn’t say it and as for reactionary - football is a live for the now not the past old chap
You and I both know that argument is absolute nonsense.
It isn’t - managers are as good as the season they are in
We been saying teams around us have games in hand for months now!Yeah a quick look at the league table and games in hand brought me back down to Earth pretty quick.
This means that it’s a vital season and surely questions need to be asked why we persist with a negative rigid formation each week and oddly sell non scoring strikers who suddenly score when sold and sign a striker like Godden who now doesn’t score?
And now you all know why the twat Grendel has been on my "ignore" list for about a year! Can't stand reading his drivel.'Stop being negative about everything Grendel and abusing your own players'
Grendel's response: '......tripe like Bakayoko.....'
Says it all.
So being 5th at this point of the season after building and evolving a squad of real potential is a failure in your eyes? Not to mention the quality of football we've been playing?
And to your original post how many games were you planning to give Robins before calling your mythical taxi? I think we all know that your post was in effect stating that he was rapidly running out of time - which is ludicrous.

Im amazed you actually can read to be fair
Robin's is doing far more right than he is wrong. It's just immensely frustrating it's the same things he keeps getting wrong despite recognising them in post-match interviews and that our big problem position is the one you'd expect him to be the bet at resolving as it was his position.
Ive already said the only good football is winning football - we compromise goal scoring opportunities by the way we set up.
Who exactly has said "Robins out"?
I'm a pretty regular visitor to these forums and I can't recall anyone saying it.
Yes. after some of the recent defeats, or draws that we should have won, people have expressed frustration at some of Robins' decision mnaking.
It's a valid argument that some of his late substitutions have been bizarre.
That is a far cry from wanting him out.
But we aren't going to be jumping for joy the next time our opponents equalise in the 85th minute and Robins reacts by sending on a striker.
Robins out? The football genius that is Grendel of course. He's given Robins a self imposed deadline of 5 games (stated today but it was blatantly a lot less when he shared his thoughts last week) before he calls the mythical taxi.
I'm a little more of a football romantic perhaps.
I personally want to see my team playing class football that is possession based rather than booting it long and hoping for knock-downs.
You myopically focus on just one aspect of our play. I would counter that our possession football is very difficult to play against and allows us to control games i.e. our defensive record is excellent and our set up enables this. We allow teams very few chances.
I think perhaps we should dynamically change out set up during some game situations - but I would certainly not abandon our fundamental passing game.

Why is it better mainly?
The funny thing is the dimwit who posted this rather lame parody has actually proven the point that I was making
Not that he will be able to figure out the irony himself of course
I don't think he planned on Godden to be injured a month after he bought him. Give him some time, then we'll see. From what I've seen he has some real goalscoring instincts.Robins has made some poor decisions selection wise at times and the failure to bring in a decent forward is questionable. They are the only negatives I can see though.
He has a very young squad who battle harder than any team I remember in recent memory.
Fuck off your probably the Administror on there!I really think a Readers Digest forum would perhaps suit you better
I feel last seasons league was tougher then this one personally mate, but we’re 5th and going into the January window I feel needing one player isnt bad, rather we drew too many at start of season rather than second half fingers crossed we turn them into wins from now onJust for once Moron give yourself and the rest of the world a break from your constant negativity. Absolutely unbelievable - seriously have a fcuking day off.
I don’t think he’s said that has he? If you’re talking about the post from this page he said the next 5 games are pivotal to our season which is true
But WM don’t you see, this is exactly the frustration mate! We are 5th (inflated with an extra game) but this team is good enough to be top with the players we have and the points we have thrown away from a refusal to be agile. We are still 5th G with the 'negative rigid formation'. And we've only been beaten 3 times...the rigidity means we're hard to beat. That's why we're 5th.
Yeah and like I've said on a response to CVD...I 100% get that and such frustrations. But WM don’t you see, this is exactly the frustration mate! We are 5th (inflated with an extra game) but this team is good enough to be top with the players we have and the points we have thrown away from a refusal to be agile.
It’s love and passion for the club, and the recognition that this is the best chance in years to go back to the championship, that is making people frustrated with some of robins decisions (or lack thereof as is so often the case). It’s so close we can almost taste it.
Negligent is a bit harsh, to us it looks like a mistake. My two abiding memories of jch were one at Brighton in the cup when he came on he was the best player on the pitch and one at the jsb xmas Party when he was a bit of a super sub. My son asked if he was happy making a difference to games off the bench? His arrogant answer makes me think the decision to let him go wasn’t about his abilities on the pitchIve already said the only good football is winning football - we compromise goal scoring opportunities by the way we set up.
Someone else said that Robins is a paint by numbers manager - which is a great description as that is what he is.
You can’t blame him for selling Chaplin as a higher league club means he goes. The giving away of Clarke Harris an infinitely superior forward - when used to his strengths - than Biamou and Bakayoko is negligent
The next 5 games and league position then is pivotal to the season
Oh 3 Spurs fans on 5 Live demanding the Special One is sacked and likely to be a change at Man U very soon
What did he say?Negligent is a bit harsh, to us it looks like a mistake. Can’t remember precise words something like I’m the best striker here so I should be playing the whole gameWhat did he say?

SlowerthanPlatt - I'd suggest you go and read the conclusion of his first post on the infamous first 'Listen to Me, Hear me Out' post.
And of all the people to defend in the world...it's not that Moron Grendel.
Can’t remember precise words something like I’m the best striker here so I should be playing the whole game
Go on, spell out the irony for me. What point of yours have I proven?
Funny how you always just ignore messages when you know you’re wrong and go and fight different battles. I hope you’re not as disliked in real life as you are on here, life must be such a chore.
Disliked on here? Plenty seem to understand the view and are agreeing with me.
I didn’t ignore it. I’ve answered and one other poster has said exactly the same.
It’s not my fault you are too dim. Shall I use crayons and explain slowly?
And now you all know why the twat Grendel has been on my "ignore" list for about a year! Can't stand reading his drivel.
