Probably robins demanding what he can’t deliverI’ve heard very reliably that their are issues with Bakayoko at the club
What have you heard?
I think it’s the constant getting tactics wrong or out thought by other managers what are getting to most on hereWe were doing so well when Robins took over and have since regressed, is that right?
Hiwula not Baka unfortunately as I'd rather keep Jordy.I’ve heard very reliably that their are issues with Bakayoko at the club

I don't want lists, I want specific credible alternatives if that's where we're at.The post is that it's a turning point in our season. The post isn't we should turn to someone else. If you mean who else is there, I can create a list if you'd really like.

Interested to hear your thoughts on today Faz ?I don't want lists, I want specific credible alternatives if that's where we're at.
We lost, I watched the first half, we did ok in that half but didn't create enough. Can't comment on the second half performance.Interested to hear your thoughts on today Faz ?
You're supposed to learn more BY making mistakes ... let's hope it sinks in soon.My worry is we keep making the same mistakes
Should have bought Baka and Kastaneer on 15 minutes earlierWe lost, I watched the first half, we did ok in that half but didn't create enough. Can't comment on the second half performance.
He’s made changes early to change games Ipswich wasn’t it one of the home games took off hyam ? That’s why today I don’t get it I don’t think many of us on here have done coaching badges but we could see what was happening I called it on the match thread 20 min to go we’re gonna lose this he stood there with no intent to make the changeYou're supposed to learn more BY making mistakes ... let's hope it sinks in soon.
I agree current form (particularly "away") isn't great, but unless we go on a sudden nose dive and don't win in the next couple of months, no way will they consider a change in management.
Think we need to hope that come the window with a virtually injury free squad , we can off load a few who haven't been up to the mark and bring in fresh but useful faces. Assuming we haven't imploded by then, that would have to obviously be with Robins in charge.
We're not really in a position to be picky anyway, so going to have a leap of faith and lend him my vote.
Was there today we played poorly. They disrupted our game and Sam ricketts deserves credit for that. While I would in no way call for the actions suggested by the OP. Robins needs to quickly learn when to play 2 up front. Today we were just getting deeper and inviting pressure. A second striker would have given them new problems instead we persisted with tactics that were clearly not working and we got what most could see was coming.I think it’s the constant getting tactics wrong or out thought by other managers what are getting to most on here
Exactly Shrewsbury are a different set up than Ipswich worked great there today it came back time and time again. Was there today we played poorly. Our drop in form is a real concern. After considering last season as the platform, January is key for us if we are going to have a good season or an average one. It's easy to look at the league table and let it mask our form, but the difference between our first 10 games and last 10 games is stark.

Let’s just say he certainly isn’t liked!I’ve heard very reliably that their are issues with Bakayoko at the club

I know that you have an agenda against him so you're going to need to be more specificLet’s just say he certainly isn’t liked!
Last 10 games is pretty close to relegation form.

This is a ridiculous post.
Constantly looking at it from our own viewpoint as fans unable to see how thw others see us is such a negative.
When Shrewsbury scored their winner the excitment express by their players was palable. They had just beaten a team better than them.
And we were far better than them untile we started to huff and puff in the second half.
Ipswich have had their success this season with plenty of odd goal wins. They have not been up rooting trees but many have said they are by far the best team inthe league?
We played them 3 times and I fail to see there is much at all between the two sides.
We are an excellent footballing side and yes we need to score a few more to turn allthose draws into victories. Had we done so we would be top.
Teams that remain largely unbeaten tend to start turning that corner at some point as the season gets longer.
We have been hampered by injuries to key players until now and already we see what's been missing.
Allen looks absolute quality at this level. Godden gets his chance now in a side crating chances and the likes of Bakayoko I doubt will evn sit on the bench.
When you have only been beaten 3 times then there is evidence much is right. We also have goals in the team not just reliant on a striker. That is the way of the game nowadays. Firnino Would be dropped every week at Liverpool on his scoring record....but he is a key cog for others to score throughout the side.
We have the players and ability now to alter formation and selection each game if we wish.
Today we just got undone by the Shrews physical attributes and a bad surface pitch as much as tiring legs and that nhabit of sitting too deep as the game progreeses. Players were making indecisive choices today when in good positions. O'Hare and Shipley come to mind. Perhaps an over confident mood after the mid week win.
Today the players learnt a lesson the hard way and I'm still confident we can grab an automatic place as the season lengthens.

The recruitment of the forwards at this club except mcnulty over the last few seasons has been nothing sort of appalling.
so is Godden a rubbish signing then??
Go on then do it.The post is that it's a turning point in our season. The post isn't we should turn to someone else. If you mean who else is there, I can create a list if you'd really like.
Too early to tell. At our recent standard he probably is!
If I could have your attention
There are times when the club in a season reaches a cross roads
To me this season that is today. I previously started a thread on the same vein with Mowbray and was proved right as the car crash unfolded
In many areas the club has some could players who could make this a successful season.
We criminally lack any forwards who top 6 teams would want or we get the goals to dry up. Biamou, Bakayoko and Hiwula are duds. Godden finds the Robins way and stops scoring. Clarke Harris and Chaplin escape the Robins way and start scoring
Only team to have no away wins, pitiful goals difference and embarrassing number of goals scored - a team in the drop zone with 5 wins versus our 7
It is still possible to turn the season around. A different style and crucially new forwards. The rest of the team is competitive and capable
Like Ipswich we are slumping.
What do we do? Stick or twist?
The taxi is warming up and needs to be heading to Birmingham unless a change of approach and personnel is adopted soon
Agreed, I'm sure MR is as frustrated as the rest of us, we dont seem to be able to perform for 90 minutes, we only ever play well for 1 half of any game, and we've failed to recruit any decent strikers, (Biamou tries hard, but will never score 10 league goals in a season and Baka and hiwula are shite,) and playing 1 up front isn't the way to go, imho.We didn't play our best today, but still tried to play football. The ref was poor and they got away with a lot of 'break up the play' fouls which the referee did little to stop. L have said before, I am enjoying watching us play this season and there is a bond between the players and fans. I think it is short sighted of supporters to turn on players or the manager when we all want the same thing (see Sunderland if you want to see what negativity can do). Not saying we cannot criticise, but have a look at what management and players are having to cope with. The team is progressing - just my opinion.
