1. Theres a whole generation, maybe even 2 now, who have not seen us in us in premier league. I was born in 1990 so remember going up and catching the tail end of the prem days between 97 and 01, but I'd love for my kids to finally see us play the teams they always see on the TV that look so far away from us
2. The money. A season in the prem, if spent wisely, will set us up for a decade, and hopefully get us in the yoyo bracket
The rest of it though can get to fuck, VAR, corporate shite, awful fixture dates and times, hugely overrated players on obscene money etc
Wouldnt give 2 shits if we were there for only 1 season tbh
Couldn’t agree more.
My first game was 1989 so top flight/prem football for what 12 years? Saw some of the worlds best at the time.
but yeah all the shite that goes with it I can do without - add in to the mix over-analysis (MNF), and big teams (Liverpool) moaning if one tiny decision goes against them.
What's with all the wimpy & miserable reactions about potentially being promoted to Englands top tier ffs? So people are just happy to just stay in the Championship forever?
Where's the ambition? Geez
