Yes that's the Butts.Really? Two Rugby clubs?
And super league starts in March?
Of course it bloody will.
Although you right of course. Because we won't be playing at the Ricoh.

Think IF it happens it's more likely to kick off at the BPA and Coventry Bears will become Coventry Wasps or something similar. It's mainly a summer sport and I'm certain fixtures will be sorted so there's no clash. Why the panic about Rugby League ? It's where WE play our home games season after next we should be concerned about.
I can't see why Wasps would buy a Super League franchise and then play it at the Butts - what would be in it for them? They'll surely want the income streams located at the Ricoh, where they will be able to get 100% of it. The Butts would also be a step down for a Super League franchise in terms of size.
So I'm not sure we should panic but it's not unreasonable to consider the likely impact on CCFC, given that we're all fans. If it happened It would mean three professional teams playing at the Ricoh during April and into May, not something that bodes well for the pitch.
Also there's the issue of franchise sport. Wakefield, for example, have played in the same place for over a hundred years - what about their fans? As with Wasps, it seems to me to be somewhat hyopcritical to complain about our owners moving us to Northampton if we're happy to tolerate another team being moved 100 miles to suit their owners.
Wasps are trying to maximise the use of the Ricoh. It makes sense IF and it is a big IF Rugby League can be successfully marketed in the Rugby Union close season. I'm not sure Rugby League can be a success down here, as so few people play it & the failure to grow participation across England since 2007.
However, given the uncertainty about CCFC and the messaging from the club that:
a] We are going to build our own stadium incorporating the academy
b] See you in court.
It would negligent of Wasps to not look for new options, especially as they've invested into Netball.....which is a growing sport for participation!
Or another local Coventry team it would undoubtedly cause problems for.It might make sense for Wasps' owners, but that doesn't mean that it does for us, or for the poor buggers supporting the team that might be shifted 100 miles or more!
Even the netball team was controversial wasn't it? Didn't a team from Yorkshire get turfed out to allow them a place?
Yorkshire Jets are to be wound up after England Netball decided to remove them from Netball Superleague.
Sure it won't happen. Nick Eastwood said they don't do franchising so I'm sure they will get behind Coventry Bears instead.
Hahahhahaha, what the fuck was Wasps move to Coventry if not franchising. Eastwood is as intelligent as Fisher, dumb bastards the pair of them
Coventry Bears will be fucked over thenOr another local Coventry team it would undoubtedly cause problems for.
Not if you put a 3G pitch in.What about concerts & stuff, won't other summer events restrict opportunities for the big acts to play.
