Loving a club (1 Viewer)

I do apologize guys for using our club as an example but we are prime targets for this observation.

To love a club is obviously normal if you come from the town or city from where the team play. For the manager and players to love the club they represent is near impossible as most would see it as a job, and you can't blame them. But managers and players can move on when times are dire, like our present position but we must stay behind like a faithful dog. That only leave the owners as the true key for success.

I listened to the radio after the game, not the driveling mob on Cov and Warks, but BBC radio and they were talking to a few Watford fans and a Tranmere fan. The Watford fans pointed out how they felt the owners loved the club, whareas the Tranmere fan said that now the club has owners but a few months ago the previous owner had no love nor money for the club.

I hate politics especially football politics but there is no getting away from the fact SISU are to blame for our position in the tables and which league we are in. If the owners love a club they will chose the best manager and players to represent the team. Our owners are business people, and not very good at business people into the bargain. If I were a business teacher I would use us as the negative not the positive.

God forbid we get relegated again next week but if we do, we do. SISU must realise they have completely no assets and their stubbornness to invest into something that could be profitable only shows that their business model is on a par with the builders of the Titanic. But if we are relegated would that mean we are less valuable? Of course yes, but maybe not with SISU. Whatever happens the time is to find a solution to ridding ourselves of SISU.

I am not a hateful person so my motives are not anger nor contempt for SISU. I love my club and if we could get together all the 'super' or 'wealthy' fans and sit down and make a viable business plan to takeover the club then we must. I come into contact with wealthy asian business people on a daily business but they would be exactly the same as SISU. They would be in it for the money, only. This guy Keys on the radio always talks the talk but he doesn't actually walk the walk does he?

What I believe is needed is divine intervention again. Having Dr Cocksworth mediate again would be of benefit to all concerned and of course there must be a golden apple offered to SISU, for example, the people wishing to take over could have an agreement that if, and when, City got to the premier league 30 million would go to SISU. Without such a deal they would not entertain any sale. Honestly, if I had the money I wouild buy CCFC with that promise of 30 million on entry to the premier and I would invest heavily in the team. I would also put into place a working agreement with WASPS to use the Ricoh. SISU, or should I say Fisher, constantly say we need our ground to survive. I believe that to be true IF you have no ambition. If one has ambition then getting to the premier would be the key aim for financial success. The Ricoh was built for football. I love rugby but there is not a club in the world nor a league outside of football that could possibly sustain the ground. The WASPS need CCFC to take their dreams to another level. If I were a businessman I would love that challenge. You have no ground to pay for other than rent. You literally only need revenue to pay salaries, where is the problem? The prblem lies in the under-ambitions of the owners. As I said I'm not anti-SISU but I am anti-under-ambitious.Therefore, we as supporters have a duty to future supporters who like us have no choice whether to support the team or not. WE LOVE THE CLUB and we must return the club to loving owners.

A bit clutching at straws?

I reckon all City fans should chip in a £1 a week - and all this is converted into entering the Euromillions Lottery - say run by the Trust?

Numbers could be published each week, and WHEN we win it, the funds are used to buy out our lords and masters. Easy when you think of it!
