The danger is that these low crowds can be used by SISU to ''justify'' moving CCFC to Birmingham or wherever. Maybe even creating a Feeder club for a EPL team.

Cov fans really should stand up against sports franchises...boycotting MK Dons and Wasps would be a good start.

how many season ticket holders do we have, 4,000 ?

If so, that would be over 25% that didn't turn up, That's shockingly depressing,

Agree about boycotting MK Dons but you really need to get over this obsession that Sisu are going to franchise CCFC to another town or city.....its a ridiculous notion that not even the most ardent Sisu haters on here believe for 1 second as it makes ZERO sense from any business or sporting perspective.

I'd politely suggest your time on this forum has run its course. CCFC are not & will not be franchised. Why don't you spend your time posting about franchise sport where it is at least relevant.....try wasps or MK dons forums eh!!

Oh fuck off you miserable twat. We lost to easily the best side in the division, we were on TV on a wet and cold Monday night . Even Swindon couldn't muster up 500 fans.

Clearly we expect better than this but that's where we are so get on with or don't bother but stop whining.

Any move needs to be able to tap into a fan base.
I think Birmingham have some already
Milton Keynes never had a League team so that was a natural gap that could be possibly filled.

Its exactly what Wasps are doing. They think there is a gap here so are hoping to explore.

I don't expect CCFC fans to transfer over.
I see plenty of CCFC fans at Wasps matches but hopefully they are like me and do both.

Any team in all four divisions and the conference would have given Swindon a better game than we did.
You surely can't still think this is acceptable?

There is a famous rugby team already in Coventry, but apart from that there is a gap.

A rhetorical question would mean I have the answer. But I don't. So it is a genuine question and given the majority of responses on here it's more urgent than ever if people are to be persuaded to continue going - can you or anyone else please offer even the tiniest sign that things will improve under our current owners? thx

No you don't know the answer... I don't think anyone does. But you're only interested in one type of answer.

Maybe things won't improve under SISU, maybe they will... but either way until someone puts their money where their mouth is they aren't going anywhere.

Rubbish. We beat Walsall and should have beaten Chesterfield. Pressley got the tactics wrong and the team made some crap decisions and couldnt finish.
The top sides in the Championship regulaly hammered us so why would we expect anymore in this division.
Why is every defeat the end of the world for you?

People are sick and tired of watching shit full stop. Season ticket holders aren't that bothered as they have already paid it's not money they have got to spend like a punter being asked for ₤22 to go on a Saturday. It's a bit like gym membership you loose interest at times but have already paid. The crowds will continue to dwindle while the owners don't invest, which means the 60% rule for ffp will mean we spend less next year as the turnover will be lower. It's a self fulfilling prophecy, you get out what you put in that's why the owners need to sell up.

We have 4 season tickets, only 2 attended on Monday, unlikely to attend many more home games this season and will not be renewing any next season. Sisu Gone, Pressley Gone and a complete overhaul of a shit squad and I might consider.

You obviously have lower standards than me. In more ways than one when it comes to fellow fans.
It's not acceptable and I will tell then at every opportunity.

You stay happy and nothing will change.

If you think that a protest has to be a "success", then you're kinda missing the point. But that's true to form.

Watching us lose and play badly isn't new - there were plenty of days like that at HR too. What is different is knowing we have an owner who doesn't care about footballing success and the feeling that supporting CCFC isn't about even a remote chance of progress but is about watching a hedge fund asset stripping and squeezing every last penny out of us plus endless (and pointless) arguments about who's to blame. Monday didn't even feel like a competitive event and I felt the same at Doncaster where a very poor team beat us comfortably. Seems more like watching a sad, slow death.

I'm afraid I still feel totally fed up after Monday so - and getting back to the OP - I asked if anyone could offer even the tiniest sign that things will improve under sisu. No one else has, so you're my last hope!

Why dont you go and ask Tim Fisher at a game rather than asking people on a message board ? very odd.

What are the thoughts of you and the Trust over the Ann Lucas revelations?

There isnt a Trust anymore is there?

Lets be honest, it is not an entity that has any direction or any sense it is a mass fan movement. It actually doesnt organise anything despite having 9 people on the board???
How bizarre that a fans group has nothing to say on behalf of the fans on yesterdays announcements from Ann Lucas.

At least when Michael was involved there was a sense of urgency and a desire to do something, even if it was mostly flaky.

Like you, I'm just a member of the Trust so you have as much idea what they're thinking as I have. I regularly questioned ACL's profitability and still can't get over what the Council did with the Wasps deal. My line has always been team and fans before politics and profits and latest revelations confirm my belief. Return to the Ricoh should have been a time for rebuilding. So I've answered your question. What's your answer to the question in the OP?
