With a few out of work footballers about (Jack Wilshere etc) who thought that there were probably a few pay days ahead, players need to be careful that they don't coast in these type of games, as when their contracts come to an end they could be in for a really rude awakening. I'm sure people deal with it differently, but suspect that some players will have resultant psychological issues without proper support, if they literally move from hero to zero. Ruthless business at the end of the day, but some who haven't earned a lot over their career will be hit hardest, I suspect.

In contrast in the previous U23 game at QPR Kelly and Jones were head and shoulders above everyone else
