Any body go to the first meeting of the season last night?
Oggy and Doyle in attendance, some interesting information regarding Doyle, he IS coming back as a coach in the Not too distant future. He has a contract to do this already from the club.
For those interested there is a charity match organised by him and the supporters club at Leamington Fc and it’s £60 if you want to play v CCFC old boys.

I was there - turned up a bit after the start due to a prior commitment, Good turnout -over 150. Doyle spoke well. Oggy said Westwood was best of the keepers we'd had since he'd packed up his gloves. My wife won't let me play in the game v City old boys because of my knee (she's right, but still gutted!) Shippers was there too (as usual). Thanks again to Paul H (and helpers) who does a lot of the unseen dirty work in putting on these events

Paul spent hours setting up to look the v part, so much so that it took 90 mins to take down and put away after. The guy absolutely loves and lives for the club. Great night and I won the raffle and one of the footie cards too

I did put a thread up about the charity game too, I'll bump it later and try to keep it near the top.

It was my first time at one of the club's events yesterday, I was taken aback by the amount of effort that went into the evening. It was an excellent evening and I shall certainly be attending more in the future.
