If Clarke would have stayed then would have been 5 with another 2 players (i think) on 19. That becomes nearly 1 in 3 last season on or around the magical 20 mark so a bit more than 'not many'. Point is they are out there, just that Pressley cannot see them.

And this is one of the reasons that people wanting to keep Preesley baffles me. He has had 4 transfer windows and not even come close to signing one, or an attacking midfielder who can score, or a winger who can create goals.

I merely meant within this glorious League One era ccfcway. McGoldrick would've got 20 if he stayed in the first season and Leon Clarke would've got 20 if he had been here all season.
My point being, we seem to expect a 20 goal a season striker in this league, I don't think they're as easy to find as the simplicity of that statement.
A striker that can score 20 in Division 3 is hard to find?
Find for free yes. A small fee paid makes it much easier. 10% of the transfer fees taken last season would have got us a 20 or more goalscorer for Division 3. All we can hope for is a loan from a club that has too many strikers.....like McG was.......or a trouble maker or player that has no loyalty like Clarke. Not going to see another Wilson come through in a hurry.
I think we should sign him and then immediately loan him to our landlord Wasps, they could do with someone who is good at getting the ball over the crossbar !
I don't think he's improved since we had him before. A decent touch here and there but offers very little else. Saying that he's a better option than Nouble.
