Well yep, and of course Armstrong was only 18 (just turned 19). Awful lot of responsibility on one young man's shoulders. What niggles me more than anything is the neglect from the management. It became obvious before the January transfer window even opened we needed another maybe even two strikers, Armstrong was never going carry on with his goal spree and also as a striker he was on his own, players were signed plenty of them, Rose, Hunt, Lorenzen, Cole, Ramage, Stephens but no strikers and when at the last minute we got Darius Henderson it took weeks to play him despite the lack of goals. Am I wrong ?
Put money as in bringing in about 5 or 6 new faces?
Sisu need to go.
No put money into bringing in quality players.
Not some unknowns, unowned or unfit players.
Sisu need to go.
The loans and signings pre January were exciting...not sure always what we were getting but all delivered above expectation. In January we got has beens and also rans; predictable and uninspiring (ok we did hope Cole might give us something special) and they didn't deliver to expectation.
Why didn't TM continue with his previous policy of giving up and coming junior England players a run out?

I believe that's another thing some of us said, yet were negative for doing so
He should be proud of his first full season overall, mind you. tbf to him he's done better than I expected.
Whose buying and putting money in then?
Who else put money in in League 1 in January?
I thought you were just enjoying the football? No negativity, all positive. Nobody allowed to say anything bad?
Still waiting for some Sisu negativity from you guys to complete my Bingo full house.
If you defend Sisu then you deserve to have the team you watch.

I am waiting for the next time we miss a penalty to blame them for it.
Still, there hasn't been a bigger pro sisu person on this forum than you from what I can remember.
Yes I backed them many years ago but they have proved incompetent.
Keep using that one to justify your support.
If you loan/buy unproven players things like penalty misses can be expected.
Sisu should have gone for a bit more quality/experience at Xmas.
But hey you keep attacking anybody that has a go at them and let them off the hook.
It's almost as if you are frightened to have a go at them in case it of legal actions against this bulletin board.
put money and give it a punt.
Now where have I heard that before. Worked out really well last time

I said if you are in with a chance at Xmas then have a punt.
You were one of their biggest fan boys.
And that was what I was commenting on. Richardson also said 'have a punt'.
You're suggesting the club deliberately spends more than it can afford, and potentially get a transfer embargo as a result, in the hope of success.
Operation championship - you know it makes sense.
They can't just put money in so FFP isn't affected. Any money put in counts towards turnover which you can only spend 60%, so it is intrinsically linked.No. I suggest Sisu put some money in so FFP is unaffected.
Surely if they want out that will be beneficial if we are in the Championship.
Why do you entertain these idiots?

Would think he would be firing to try and get the top scorer for League 1.
Still not out of the question, a sneaky hat trick puts him back in the frame.
I used to believe in Father Christmas.
Things change

Seriously, why don't you take your own advice? Just get over it.
Is there no way around FFP if owners want to put money in?
Bournemouth just for example?
Are you actually saying that we need to accept L1 ??
It's different.
We can't do much about Wasps so get over the fact they are here to stay.
But we don't have to persist with mediocrity and should push for change.
Who is going to want to buy us when we rent off them? It's not going to happen, just accept it and get over it.
At least you get to watch top class rugby and make money, so who cares about anyone else?

Our "not real" debt is the first stumbling block to getting our club sold on. Ironically the biggest problem with the current rent deal and selling the is it's short term. If anyone was ever going to be interested in buying the club (assuming SISU are willing to do a sensible deal over the "not real" debt first) without a long-term commitment to a ground (renting or otherwise) SISU would be trying to sell a club without a home. So if SISU aren't building they're only chance of selling (again, aside from a deal on the "not real" debt) is if they make a long term commitment to renting at the Ricoh. So you really are going to have to get over it at some point.
As I said before, nobody is going to buy us in D1.
We need to get into the Championship to get back on the radar.
