Makes me feel old! (or even more older!) (1 Viewer)

All my three sons have passed their driving tests in the past and all passed first time. Now I'm told that one of my grandsons has passed today. First time as well. Anyone else got family achievements that might make them feel age is creeping up?

Not family, but we've finally got to the stage where we're employing people young enough to be my children and, more worryingly, born in a different century to me...

I'm turning 30, which is an achievement in itself, but this makes me feel that age is creeping up.

I found turning 30 easier than 28 and 29; I'm 34 in December and don't really worry about it now. The years since my early 20s have flown by though and I have to think how old I am sometimes.

I had to do a survey at work and I had the age demographic box I had to use was 41/55
I’m 42

Crikey if being in your 30's makes you lot feel old, spare a though for me! I'm 65 and have had 8 kids,18 grandkids and also have an 8 year old great-grandson! Actually, thinking about it, I don't feel old at all. I still love a good scrap, I love all sorts of music (from the 60's through to todays stuff) and enjoy life to the full!

Going to work on the train the other day, the four people sitting opposite me were all staring into their phones, the three people alongside me all staring into their phones. All much younger than me of course. My phone was tucked away in my backpack. I'd rather people-watch or watch the scenery passing by. I realized I cannot relate to people today.

Fair play to you mate! I've just got home from 2 hours in the boxing gym and think I will always love a good fight too!

I'm seriously considering getting an old Nokia phone to get away from always be 'available' on email or whatsapp

Man after me own heart! I have a Galaxy mini 3. I'm pretty sure I can get the interweb on it but can't be arsed. I just use my phone for calls and texts. And when I text, I type FULL words! None of this shortened to a few letters crap! When I leave the house, my phone is in my pocket and it stays there! No bugger ever rings me but I carry it in case of emergency (another heart attack or summat!)
