This will hardly help integration. Would be interesting to see how conflicts between sharia and statutory law were handled.
Video reveals hate cleric's follower roaming on Scottish island
Sheikh Yasser al-Habib, 45, old his followers 'this is my calling' as he urged them to donate even more money to his £3million pot as he advance talks to buy the remote island of Torsa, off Scotland's coast.www.dailymail.co.uk
Well, using Shmmeee’s preferred population density you would get quite a few. Presumably they wouldn’t be claiming benefits from a society they would be ecshewing and I can’t imagine sharia law is all that comfy for adulterers and sodomites. So no, not a glorious lifestyle.Something tells me they wouldn't fit many on that island and it wouldn't be a glorious lifestyle!
Wow, so confusing.Let them crack on, won't be long before the yanks turn up to give them some 'freedom'.
To be fair I'd have 100% done the same in the circumstances.. But you still can't stamp on a prone man's head whilst being recorded on multiple cameras and get away with it. The copper is fucked.
At least be smart and fill the fucker in in the back of the waggon.
Wow, so confusing.
United States of Greenland and Islamic Republic of a small island off the coast of Scotland.
Well its probably changed the attitude of the family...This new video doesn't change anything though does it?
Every normal person agreed that wether they deserved it or not a copper cannot just boot someone in the head when they are defenceless.
The fact they r Muslim is just something that racists care about. They wanted the copper to be in the right from the get go because he was fighting their enemy etc
To me it doesn't matter rid they white black or brown. They r clearly pricks. Should clearly be punished. BUT the copper was and still is in the wrong and should also be punished.
Once again I have to ask why can't most people just be normal? On this thread there are only a few posters who i would class as normal and not having a emotional or tribal reaction to this incident.
Well its probably changed the attitude of the family...

Same energy?
And you must know my history as well. I’m militantly anti racist. Cheeky religion joke though. Jobs a gooden
you call it a heap of wank. why?
Muslims play the victim card so many times. They are like scousers. always the victims but never their fault
people are sick of it but too scared to say anything
Agree on the unfair generalisation about Muslims, but if there's one collective of people we can stereotype, he makes a fair point on the scousersI hadn't even thought LG meant the terrible puns, more things like this
Still either way, at least it'll mean ESB can drone on at somebody else for a change.

Live by the DEI, die by the DEI.
If you have a system that rewards such behaviour what do you expect,
What is it btw? TaYes, by the look of it.

Well said.Whilst there maybe more to come out, I think people were right to reserve judgement on the situation until more context was given. Unless more evidence comes to light, or videos are subsequently discredited, I think the so-called "victims" were very violent and the police were right to use tasers to subdue them. However, I take exception to an officer kicking and attempting to stamp on the head of an individual who was prone and not clearly a threat (unless they prove otherwise).
Did they deserve it? Maybe. Would I have done it in the same situation? Probably. But Police are to be held to a higher standard than Joe Public like me. Dispassionately judging a situation and subduing a suspect to allow the justice system to deal with them, the stamp looked like retribution to me, for which I have a degree of sympathy but do not condone, knowing I sit in an Ivory tower.
To their lawyer and the "victims" claiming racism, I almost laugh, as it's such a far cry away from the actual racism still pervasive in our society, with it being a case of percentages rather than a simple "yes or no", it almost debases the very valid claims in the wide context. The UK has a problem with racism because it still exists, I am sure we all agree. This incident is not an example, the offenders look like dicks, the police probably overstepped the boundaries of the "rules of engagement" and investigations into wrong-doings need to be conducted on all sides.
It is.Also, from the actual lyrics:
'And you wonder why you can't get no sleep'
This is bothering me. Is it a double negative or not? I've just woke up and I think it's wrong, but could be me!
