Thanks a lot Sw88. Watching Benfica x Levante.but neither side are that special. Fabio Martins is OK but I believe there are far better left sided mid-fielders playing for 'B' sides in Portugal, who might be available on loan. Anyway, it's all a bit academic if we can't sign anyone.

I think he did well. Shown a lot of pace, trying to get onto all the balls played in front of him. Both pens pretty similar, running onto a long low pass played in front, keeper advances but his pace gets the better of the keeper, knocked it past the keeper who brought him down.
Can see him lining up against Clarke or Manset (if we sign him) most games as the latter two are too alike and I don't think could play alongside each other
and yet this thread is 10th down on the forum...Just goes to show what a fecking mess this club is, and how much people arent looking fwd to this season
This thread was a great read - it felt like real time!
However, everywhere to do with CCFC there is confusion, anger & despair.
CCFC will play home games in a 'stadium' 32 miles away from Coventry - it's capacity is 7,000, which is less that is way less than an average home game at the Ricoh - so even if fans decide to go to Sexfields, they may not get in - CCFC is still under a transfer embargo, unable to add to a squad of youngsters & Baker & Murphy - the kit hasn't arrived - I'm not even going to talk about SiSu, Fisher, ACL or Coventry City Council - the Football League are clueless & impotent - there's no common ground in this whole sorry mess.
Thank goodness that I saw a great game this morning: Kiama Komets under 11 White 3 - Lakeside under 11 3. Stirring game.
