I was especially pleased for all the worthy recipients although in particular for Pauline and Robins, although after reading the list of the previous 46 recipients which include Ann Lucas, George Duggins, John Mutton and Justin Welby, I'm not so sure of its worth.

Now I'm all for MR getting an award and receiving all the recognition he deserves for doing such an amazing job for us, but an award from the council??? Really????
They've been part of the fucking problem throughout his tenure here.

When he left to go to Huddersfield he was very open with his criticism of the council. Of course the apologists dismissed it at the time and said it was nonsense.
