I was especially pleased for all the worthy recipients although in particular for Pauline and Robins, although after reading the list of the previous 46 recipients which include Ann Lucas, George Duggins, John Mutton and Justin Welby, I'm not so sure of its worth.

When he left to go to Huddersfield he was very open with his criticism of the council. Of course the apologists dismissed it at the time and said it was nonsense.
