Probably, not bull shit he obviously had a knock to his knee first leg there were lots of mind games from both managers,Does anyone rekon the whole Gustavo injury was bullshit?? Late fitness test.....? The bloke never stopped running 1st and 2nd game. Robins master-class
What ever they are poking him with its working. How much do you think he's worth?Had an injection in his knee pre game apparently
When did he say that? The one for me was "Everybody needs to be ready to go. If you've been sulking because you haven't been in the team don't bother turning up."
interview after 1st legWhen did he say that?
Interesting, wonder who he was talking about..... O hare, walker. Interesting he'd let that slip before a big game...... very likely mind gamesinterview after 1st leg
He didn't have a choice. It's such a shame Vik n Godden just can't gel together. He also gambled on Sheaf and Allen starting. Totally took Carrick by surprise that midfield , of which they pretty much owned in leg one

I think you'll find they did OK in the games prior to the second leg.He didn't have a choice. It's such a shame Vik n Godden just can't gel together.
You have had Dabo, Panzo, McGuire and Wilson Esbrand not making team recently. I think it was you never know when your next chance might present itself, be ready, be mentally ready to take it.Interesting, wonder who he was talking about..... O hare, walker. Yep be interesting to see if he has any issues for finalHad an injection in his knee pre game apparently

HugelyWhich is exactly what has happened with Liam Kelly, and what Robin's alluded to in an interview this week. Top pro's don't sulk, they get on with it and are ready to go when called upon.
Surely Carrick would of known that we sometimes play with a 5 / Box midfield, and away from home in a massive game we might switch to that. Robins started the season with 2 up front but mainly because Palmer wasn't match fit and O'Hare was injured. He was forced back to that once O'Hare, Palmer and then Allen all got injured. Anyway, Palmer is a AM, whilst O'Hare is more of a No 10. I am sure if Robins had everyone available it would be a Sheaf - Hamer - Palmer - O'Hare - Vik as our midfield / attack. Barely saw it all season, bur got to say that looks f*cking great. He also gambled on Sheaf and Allen starting. Totally took Carrick by surprise that midfield , of which they pretty much owned in leg one
You'd think so but he can be stubborn when making changes. There's every chance that line up threw him off.If Carrick didn't realise we were going to a box midfield for that game he's stupid. Everyone knew it

I'm sure Carrick new exactly how we would set up, but knowing it and defeating it are 2 different things. You'd think so but he can be stubborn when making changes. There's every chance that line up threw him off.

Decent summationI'm sure Carrick new exactly how we would set up, but knowing it and defeating it are 2 different things.
Incidently I said after the first leg that 0-0 was actually better for us than being 1-0 up.
Because a narrow lead would encourage us to sit too deep and try and defend for 90 minutes. Being level obviously meant we would have to score at some point, so we would need to look to be positive.
So the box system gave us the ideal tactics of being compact but allowing us to launch quick counter attacks.
It will be interesting to see if we stick with the box at Wembley, or bring Godden back and go 2 upfront.
Personally I'd start with Godden as Wembley is a big pitch and Vik could get too isolated on his own, and Luton may well try and bypass midfield, but we wait and see.
