He looked good, but they were very one dimensional.EMC played well I thought lots of potential there. Quick and built like a brick shithouse won’t be many players pushing him off the ball. Trouble he had tonight he was clearly the main threat and Oxford just constantly doubled on him but it’s not easy to do that in the champ as you leave gaps for others to exploit. Final ball needs work for sure but we never sign finished articles. His attributes tho are high level champ and with progression low end prem.

Think a lot of it isn’t just technical ability, it’s vision and decision making. How many times this season have Wright and Simms made great runs that the midfield either haven’t clocked or have but then stalled?Mostly worried about Rudoni but TBH it’s been a curse of ours for ages only Saka seems to have anything like one from the current squad.

Don’t think right back will be a priority with Lati and potentially Burroughs covering Milan.If we look at the rumours Swedish GK, McCallum, Browne, Rudoni, Dolan then we are in a good place in midfield and up front but still lacking in central defence and right back. Have we heard whether we are going to pursue Binks? Binks and McNair would be great. I've not seen any Right back names thrown around unless the thought process would be that Eccles and Lati could provide cover there.

He wasn't great since coming back from International duty. Towards the end of the season it was divulged that he was carrying an injury but he was guilty of several game changing mistakes which cost us some points. Paddy McNair had the measure of Gyokeres each time we played them season before last. This season not so much against us. But isn’t he a midfielder that was playing centre half?

Our pockets could be deepish if Gyok moves soon.I hope the second player is Harrison Burrows, but I feel one of the clubs with deeper pockets might snatch him up. EMC does look like a steal of a signing though.

CB I don't see two coming in unless one goes. Would prefer a better option than McNair or Binks if we are looking to improve the starting 11 too.

McNair was a sub in that home league game….. (and yes I have just had to Google it).Eh? Gyokeres scored the winner against them in the home league game and then also went through on goal which eventually saw Hamer score.
