Masters is back this year. 6 players over 35. Who we picking?

I'd say Hucks, Mcallister, Doyle, Thompson, Shaw and Oggy

We've always been given shit picks in this. All of our better ex-players end up playing for someone else and we get someone that made one sub appearance for us back in 1982.

Hucks and McAllister would get picked for Leeds, Thompson for Blackburn, Shaw for Palace and Oggy would somehow get picked for Liverpool or Shrewsbury while we get Perry Suckling and Andy Ducros.

In all seriousness, if this were a regular (say, annual) competition maybe they could do it more like U.S. sports and have a draft? Even up the competition a bit.

Obviously, would need some rules. For example, if a team only had five/six ex-players left in the pool then they would have to have those players in order to make up a team. Players who only played for one of the clubs in the competition would have to play for that team.

Micky Gynn was the king of Masters. Didn't David Speedie play in goal once and came out with the ball and scored or did I dream that?

I'd be surprised if Willow played. He played in it and got badly injured a few years ago, he told me he had very little compo and healthcare from it
