Arguably one of his most importantI think this is my favourite Matty Godden finish over the years (1m 20s in).
Beautiful
Like Keane vs Arsenal all those years ago
We hadn't won before that Wycombe game amazingly
Pretty sure that fooooooking gimp Bellamy gave us the shhhhh and/or the middle finger both when he’s scored for & against us!Can anyone name another players that has done celebrations “at” the City fans? Both sticking your fingers in your ears and not celebrating with the fans, but explicitly turning your back on them is an intentional act and one TBH I don’t think lines up with the club philosophy Robins has tried to instil. Godden is a legend and has done great things for the club but no player is bigger than the club and as soon as they think they are questions have to be asked.
Its so he can get served in pubs
I could grow a full one by the time I was 14, it served me well.Same reason I keep my beard. Truth hurts.
Oh I'm sure if he has scored the winner as opposed to the 5th and 6th goal, his reactions would of been very different.not really but not celebrating is a clear sign there is probably a problem
ffs! Stop looking into things that ain’t there.not really but not celebrating is a clear sign there is probably a problem

Yes he’s human and cares about himself more than the club. He’s not grown up supporting them.lol
You think Robins does anything other than try and win the game
You’re having a giraffe

Wipes his nose with his shirt, not once, but twice, as a celebration. Class.Just watching back City unseen. It's just really odd.

You also see him clap the fans at the end so it’s either nothing or it’s a clap good bye
I never once used the word “pace” or “speed” in association with Godden. He still knows where the goal is and how to score. Throwing him on later on in a match against players that would have naturally become more fatigued over the course of a game in order to have an impact (i.e as an impact sub against a tiring defence) is all I was suggesting.Whether people do or don't like him is their choice. Spouting vitriol especially at him is pathetic. I'm also not sure why he would suddenly be an impact sub on tired defences as that usually means pace and he's not lost a yard, he never had it. In fact imo it's what he's always been lacking and if he it then we'd be nowhere near him, he'd be a starter in the Prem
Good job you ain’t him then,If I were him I’d drop a division or two, play for a local team or whatever, and smash them in for fun for a couple of years before retirement.
Good job you ain’t him then,
similar to the rationale given for Hamer wanting a move in the summer ….I think he lives away from his family doesn't he?
They just had another baby a few weeks ago, he might want to play for a team closer to home to spend more time with his family.
I think your mentality might differ ever so slightly from that of a top-five league professional footballer.Id do it whatever level of footballer I was. Surely better to take the piss on the pitch and work for a small club with a close fan base where you can make a real difference than spend your last days getting 20 min subs and struggling to compete.
