They’d have the same time off if we’d won all the games
Blimey, a Week Off for Failure, Makes you Wonder How Long Off if They Win Something.
I'm sure forcing them to come to training on one of the few opportunities they have to have protracted time off outside of the summer months will work better
Clearly nobody is coming in until January at the earliest.A strange lull in the process of a replacement, when they allegedly got 750k for Palmer , so surely that would take care of a free agent ?
Interesting part of the Burnley documentary was Kompany explaining the direct correlation between the number of sessions he and his team had with the players and them showing that on the pitch. Difficult to instill any ideas into anyone on a beach in Greece. And let’s be honest most of them only left the beach 6 weeks ago.I'm sure forcing them to come to training on one of the few opportunities they have to have protracted time off outside of the summer months will work better
More training sessions doesn't necessarily mean they don't have time off though, does it?Interesting part of the Burnley documentary was Kompany explaining the direct correlation between the number of sessions he and his team had with the players and them showing that on the pitch. Understand the idea, but the players are human beings. You can’t run them into the ground like a game of football manager.Interesting part of the Burnley documentary was Kompany explaining the direct correlation between the number of sessions he and his team had with the players and them showing that on the pitch. Are you Gareth Southgate?I'm always calling to not overload players but you can have training that is not intensive. You can go through tactics almost a walking pace to get them drummed into the brain.
Burnt out? We’re 6 games in. So far we’ve looked non cohesive. Even if you didn’t want to make them run you could have had them together.Understand the idea, but the players are human beings. You can’t run them into the ground like a game of football manager.
They need a break to not become burnt out like everyone else. Perfect time to do it is in a two week break between games.
Mollycoddling them worked well this time last season I suppose. Only really turned around once Viveash insisted on them staying for training over the October internationals.Burnt out? Burnley, Hull and Luton have all brought in free agents over the last 24 hours or so. Not us, we're obviously happy with four keepers on our squad.
Obviously your namesake disagrees. One more moderate to long term injury in midfield and he might regret itit’s bizzare tbh. Like you say clubs have adjusted and we have a perfect short term fit with numerous people saying it’s a “no brainer” including me and yet nothing. We know there is interest there. I find it baffling myself.
If they aren’t worth millions Dougie ain’t interestedWe have a talented squad and I am happy with the signings we made however were just a few bodies short, especially in midfield, I've said it before we're short of a ball winning DM, CM and a experienced CB.
Hull signed Alzate and Burnley signed Egan which would have be good signing for us.
Just take Brighton as a example, they have very talented players in their squad that's worth a hell of a lot money yet they have experienced players like Welbeck and Dunk in there, loads of teams do it aswell we need a few more older heads in our squad. If they aren’t worth millions Dougie ain’t interested
I understand that to keep finding new signings, profit needs to be made on a few players to be reinvested. That said, you do need some decent loans and yes a well placed free transfer or two to not only protect those investments but get you over the line.Just take Brighton as a example, they have very talented players in their squad that's worth a hell of a lot money yet they have experienced players like Welbeck and Dunk in there, loads of teams do it aswell we need a few more older heads in our squad.
I find that extremely unlikely. As far as any of us know we may well have offered James a deal and he’s said no.
What is us having 4 keepers got to do with signing free agents?Burnley, Hull and Luton have all brought in free agents over the last 24 hours or so. Not us, we're obviously happy with four keepers in our squad.
Looks like a promotion.
be in the fucking squad photo next!!!
The sale of Palmer will feature heavily, led by the people who wanted rid of him.Well That Goes Without Saying.
Just Hope They Perform Against Watford, if not, the Melt Down on Here on Saturday.
If we look at the squad photo it is 5 keepers, it is because none of the outfield players want to go in goal, so we need a GK available for every team if we want to play 5 aside. What is us having 4 keepers got to do with signing free agents?
