I've seen plenty of mistakes like that in the Premier League. Mistakes happen at all levels. It is how players play after making a howler that set good players apart from average players.

I’d said to my mate at the game yesterday that he’d get caught doing it. He’d turned the attacker on the edge of our box 2 or 3 times first half. It was only a matter of time before it’d go wrong. Fair play to him though. He got on with the game and stood up when we needed it.
Thought he could have done a bit better for the 2nd too. He sprints back to goal instead of to the man and that allowed him the time to steady himself, have an extra touch and get the cross in. Being a bit picky though with that one. Love his defensive headers. Can't remember the last time we had a defender who could head the ball so far. Ben Turner or Reda maybe.

I’m thinking the same now that marosi was reacting really late as he thought Mcfadzean was gonna clear the ball. Oh well he was excellent for the Bristol game

Think he really adds that leadership to the team so with him and Kelly there is a real spine now in the team and breed confidence into those around them.
Think we have leaders in every area now, Marosi commands his area so much better, McFadzean marshalls the defence, Kelly organising the midfield in front of him and Godden making the calls up top.
