Just watching the highlights of the Hibernian semi final game, and McPake was named man of the match. I believe that he will go, because I think Hibs will line up a lot of cash to get him away from coventry, and, obviously, SISU will crumble on the thought of all the money they will get, and all the money that they can spend on their own lives instead of the club....
Just take a look at this link, and see what the hibs fans have to say. They seem to be pretty happy that we are going down:
he was official man of the match. Coventry are probably going to be relegated. McPake will be ours. :claping hands:

To be fair most of the teams in the SPL are a similar standard to league one, apart from Celtic who are made up of decent championship standard players...

Fair play to the lad. Always liked McPake.

Hope he'll be happy there.

Wow they love him.

He could have had all that here if he wasn't so unlucky with injuries. Not a bad word to say about him. I'd love it if he came back, but I'd take the money as well.

There isn't much money in Scottish football, we would be luck to get 250k out of them, we're more likely to get a scottish £20 note and a bag of haggis.

Given our injury list he should be recalled, if can do it. I'm sure if we did he would put his back putting on his sky blue shirt on tuesday night.

No recall allowed unfortunately
We sure could do with him too.
Would love to see him back next season but doubt we will.

Shows you how shite the SPL is if they're pissing themselves over McPake. Don't get me wrong, he's a decent player, just made of glass and not fit to clean the likes of Keogh's boots.

Snap there hand off for 250k, as soon as he returns here, he will get injured, it's just what happens to us!

Agree with previous posts, like the guy and was good when he played. just dont need injury prone players in a thin squad.

If coventry did recall him, we would have some INSANE enemies in Hibernian fans. This is only hypothetically speaking, cause I'm sure there isn't a recall clause. James is their captain, and apparently their best player. How can they make a loan player their captain on the first game?! They obv had a lot of faith in him, and he, apparently, has delivered (apart from the red card...).
Meh, we will sell him. A set of bagpipes and some haggis sound good? We can use it to buy more shit players for our dying club....

To be fair, you are really going to get him motivated here by robbing him of the chance to play in a major cup final and a Derby game at that. It might be the only medal he ever gets to win. He will hate us forever if we recall him now.

We can't recall him. It was discussed on here a day or so ago

Nice little interview with McPake on the bbc website - here's a quote:
"Six months ago, I was rotting away in a stand at Coventry," said the defender.
Awww, he had to over exaggerate didn't he
"Now on the 19 May I am going to be back at Hampden for a Scottish Cup final and hoping to be the first player in 110 years to lift the cup for what is a fantastic club."
Great, now he is just plain slagging us off. Tyvm james I realise we may not be the best of clubs, but, come on! xD
In all honesty, I will be happy for the lad if he wins the cup, but it would be nice to have him stay here. If sammy goes, he might even be our captain....

The Hibees are my 2nd team and it's a club that's been in steady decline in a league very low on quality and finances. To be honest, McPake was clearly homesick and it's little surprise the SPL is seeing better from him.
