All a bit pathetic really.

We've all been wondering what the 'truth' is, who did what, to whom and why. We're all wondering who will win, because some of us really want to know what went down, and some just want to post the ultimate 'I told you so'.

Whether we delved deep in to the facts, listened to the PR spin, read the Telegraph, joined the Trust/didn't bother or has a 'mate on the inside' down the pub....

....how about taking a second to reflect on who fuckin' lost? No doubt about that one; We did.

Whether you went to Sixfields, whether you didn't, whether you upheld NOPM, whether you didn't....no matter whose car you stuck your balloon on....the people who care most are the fans. Not the Council, ACL or SISU.

The sooner we all recognize we all lost, the more unified we can be when we think about moving forward.

The only thing thats changed is the ownership of ACL.

Sisu cocked up initially on stadium ownership and then after CCFC got relegated, as TF said, couldn't afford it.

I would say its a lot better. We are cost neutral.
We have to purchase everything as we need them.
Further benefits may be available when we start sharing costs with Wasps.
Ticketing looks like its a start.

No. The councillor has died and SG has paid his respects. If the OP has quoted SG straight from the CT which he has and commented this tells you all you need to know about SG what else can it tell you about SG other than he knows how to be respectful about the recently deceased. Unless you are a complete arse and want to try and read some subliminal message into someone paying their respects.

Using something someone has said about a recently deceased person for some sort of petty one up man ship because you have an agenda with either the person saying it, the person who it was said about or the public body the recently deceased represented is pretty low, in fact it's just vile. If you can't see that quite frankly you're a prick.

You fucking idiot. There is a journalistic story (not the something from down the pub) story going round about said Councillor, of whom I didnt know and feel it was sad he went at such an early age. The Telegraph have chosen to ignore that story, for whatever reasons, of which there could be many, whilst another publication has looked at the story.

That said it appears you are the prick as you cant see past the end of your nose, and never see that sometimes there may be a bigger picture out there, and if you think this is about one upmanship then you are an even bigger idiot than I first thought.

I have no issue with people paying their respects, let's turn it around and say Les Reid was saying about Tim Fisher his friend. Meanwhile it was being reported about Tim Fisher "allegedly" being up to some dodgy shit in other places but he didn't mention it? Just after stuff has come out about the sisu have done deals to surpress news etc?

If some of the accusations were aimed at Tim Fisher or Joy Seppalla, dead or alive people would be all over them.

Would you not need to know the details before concluding it is a bad deal? This sort of deal seems increasingly popular so there must be a decent upside to it.

The Arena Shopping Park is owned by Tesco, although I believe Aviva took a stake a few years back, and managed by GVA Grimley. The shop itself is leased from BWD Retail. The shop is operated by Just Sports.

I have no idea what the deal is between Just Sports an CCFC although several clubs have a similar arrangement with them so I can't imagine its a terrible deal.

In a nutshell CCC had a deal with the then editor at the CT to suppress the ACL bailout story. Since then Simon has disappeared. He made a social media post about a CCC councillor who died saying he was a good friend. The suggestion is being made that as a friend the CT have not run an unfavourable story about said councillor that other local media have.
