Firstly, congrats on the WHY WHEN protest.

Now, see Knowl's idea in post no61 on this thread:

http://www.gmkonline.com/?page=forum&forum_id=6&thread_id=36167&selpage=50#62

What are your thoughts on something like that?

100% Agree, Both sides need to be held accountable for this mess it's right that both are to blame and therefore the extent of the fans protests.

Not a bad idea, however protesting outside the council house at 3pm would mean most wouldn't be able to make it.

Another issue being some would only turn up to the council house, some only to the hill.

Just typing as I think here ......

Nikki Sinclair could organise the CCC demo and incorporate it into a signing session for his book?

Love how despite those handing out signs saying they were abused by those going to Sixfields or those saying it's the Council's fault, now if everyone doesn't support a protest that most don't agree with we're not united.

Tell me what you are protesting about or what action you wish to be seen and maybe I'll join in. But I'm not sure what his point is other than "WARRGARBL COUNCIL TOO!".

Do you want the arena given away?

Do you want a valuation?

Also, why is it these "balanced" people never ever suggest a protest against Sisu? What is that?

Any peaceful and legal demonstrations have to be good for our cause. Anything is better than just sitting there swallowing other people's shit.

Before such a protest outside the council; could you at least try and tell us what everyone is supposed to be protesting about?

We've seemingly learned today that SISU want unfettered freehold ownership of the Arena, and it's surrounding lands as a condition to return.

Given contracts already in place with ACL, Compass and the like; how can this be achieved, without any party - be that SISU, PH4 or anyone for that matter - paying a fair market value for these contracts?

Please note a complete lack of angle on my request; I just genuinely can't understand what you want the council to do.

KCIC is simple to understand. If SISU want to build their own stadium; that's fine. I just can't understand why they can't play in Coventry until such time as it's ready? Hence 'WHY'. But Knowl's proposition; what's the question or demand of the council?

Edited to add; 'is it WARRGARBL?'

Because it's been done to death with no effect. Most of us where at the two meaningful protests. The march & the WHY WHEN.

Drop the attitude towards those who don't place ALL blame at SISU's door and we might start getting somewhere as a unit.

I've learnt there is no point trying any more. People are so blinded by hatred for sisu that*they fail to see the whole picture no matter what is put in front of them. I'm not wasting the energy.

The Council can't give f***ing SISU what they are demanding (Ricoh freehold and the surrounding land).

That would be mental - nobody on here would trust SISU with that.

If SISU get to own a stadium we play in they will use it to leach off the club for all eternity.

The quickest way out of this SISU nightmare is to start a Phoenix club. Anything else and they'll continue to blackmail and sue everything that moves.

Even losing the JR won't see the back of them. They'll appeal and appeal for years on end, and even when they're done doing that they'll still have the club in their clutches.

Immoral scum.

I think most people realise it is a complex situation where various organisations people have played a part.

Ultimately SISU own the club and have the biggest influence. Therefore. Take the lion share of the blame.
