Good Afternoon, really could do with your help.. my uncle (Leigh haskins) lost his fight with cancer on Friday evening at the age of 52. A lifelong supporter who introduced me to the club and even worked as a steward for a number of years. I’d like to arrange a minutes applause for him on Saturday on the 52nd minute.. I’ve emailed the club etc.. any support anyone could offer would be great
Gutted for you & your family mate - I knew Leigh from the Hobsons back in the day and last saw him just before Wembley at the L&WCCFC meeting. He as big mates with Foz who's also a mate of mine and he told me Leigh was ill. My fondest memory of Leigh was seeing him perform Bohemian Rhapsody, acting out the lyrics (which I'm sure you must have also seen, being his party piece - absolute class)
Will definitely join in and when you know arrangements please post on here as I'd like to go and pay my respects if possible.
For anyone wondering how big a City fan Leigh was, he named his lad Dion!!

Gally - spread word on social media and I'm sure it will take off regardless, but for something on the scoreboard, try the club direct but also email Mark Hornby or Tynan Scope who are usually good with those sort of things.
