Are Robins and Adi missing Dennis Lawrence?

Might be a coincidence but our defending/ set pieces and form has been awful since he left.

Leaving at the stage he did leaves a void in the team set up surely?

Was he just the defensive coach?

I find it hard to believe that any one coach’s impact would be so great that a team would completely implode as soon as they left the building.

I'm sure we are missing him but also we've been making defensive mistakes all season.

Don’t need a defensive coach to tell you to clear your lines when the opposition implement a high press and you’ve got no one to pass to.

Playing out from the back with two centre backs instead of three is completely different. We haven’t worked that out yet. I like the idea but gets ridiculous at times.

We’ve had a season interchanging between 3/4/5 at the back. Hopefully we decide on a settled plan for next season and this reduces the errors we have made, as well as recruiting correctly for it.

you dont just forget your coaching because the coach leaves. theyre a mixture of; not good enough, tired or lacking confidence, pick one and move on to next season.
