What did people think .

I was actually very impressed , felt like a level up from what we've had in recent years .

Very Commanding on corners , distribution was very quick , made a couple of nice saves .

Reckon Robins has got this one right if I'm honest

Looked really good to me. Good distribution, great save in the first half to keep it 1-0.

Early days but very impressed and just looked a lot more 'polished' than Marosi, in the same way that Marosi looked a step up from Burge.

As I said in the match thread: thought he was the only one that came out with credit first half, overall thought he looked solid and other than one shocking miskick his distribution was better than either of our keepers last season. He actually looked to pick a pass rather than just lumping it forwards. Thought he was quicker to release the ball too.

I thought he was quite impressive on claiming a couple of crosses, the save and his distribution to the wingbacks was nice. But then in my head I'm remembering even Ben Wilson looked solid after a couple of games and we were wondering how he's only made 28 odd appearances across his career or whatever it was.

Let's see how he is after he's played against multiple football styles; constant aerial bombardment, shoot on sight etc

He did what he had to do ok and if it’s a choice between him and Wilson then he wins every time as Wilson is very poor.

What he had to do he did well, didn't really have a chance with the goal, saved one nailed on chance, claimed a few crosses by actually catching the ball and clearly enjoyed the win, i like him, I'll take 2 please.

It's just nice to have a keeper that seems to command his box for the first time in years, pleasing start (hopefully we've not all cursed it now 🙈)

Made a change to see one of our keepers not flapping around and claiming the ball cleanly. Kicking a bit suspect but you can't have everything

Early days of course, but so far so good, he wasn’t the pant shitting donkey we feared he would be after those pre season games, Guess he just needed to get rid of the rustiness.
Forest put a couple of crosses in right under the cross bar, and he claimed them comfortably, and those were the type that caused panic last season.
His celebration at the winner should make him an instant folk hero and keep the boo boys off his back, which will buy him time to settle in.
With a bit of luck he could prove to be a shrewd signing.

His celebration for the winner was fantastic to see. And even more so shows the team spirit and togetherness MR has created - even the new signings are bought into how big this club could be.

Did what he had to when called upon.

Made a crucial save.
Commands the box in the air.
Seems calm on the ball and good distribution.

Positive.

1game he's a step up from Wilson so judge him after 23 games, but impressed with him.

was harsh on him this preseason but i thought he was quite solid today and a definite step up distribution wise from keepers we’ve had in the past. hopefully this is the start of something good for ol’ simon says.

I was too busy celebrating to notice him celebrating

This, my friend, is the Robins effect. Moore, a brand new signing, as excited as anyone else in the stadium. What we have since Robins came back is fucking special.

Noticed he was buzzing when the final whistle went too. Suspect it means a lot to him to be given the chance to be number 1.
