Why are we getting so many injuries? Are the medical team not advising properly or something?

It’s probably that players are playing every game. We have less squad depth and players who are never going to play so there’s always more chance of injuries
The Maguire signing looks like it was made out of desperation rather than anything else nowI was thinking a week or so ago that as durable and full of energy as he seems that Allen could do with a rest.
I'm sure Maguire was brought in to lighten the load on Allen and Palmer, but seems he's not good enough and now we've paid the price with both of them injured.
What do you mean? The Maguire signing looks like it was made out of desperation rather than anything else now
Since we signed Maguire Allen and Palmer have been in good form and then Eccles has come back from injury, with Allen & Palmer being out might now open the door for Maguire. The Maguire signing looks like it was made out of desperation rather than anything else now
if Robins had any intention, he would have brought him on in the 2nd half yesterday -Since we signed Maguire Allen has been in good form and then Eccles has come back from injury, Allen being out might now open the door for Maguire.
He’s ignoring their guidance and it’s not an exact scienceAllen potentially going to be a similar timeframe as Fadz was depending on the extent of the tear but without the benefit of it being during the world cup break.
Palmer sounds like it's going to be at least a month, even without robins putting a timeframe on it.
Although he seems pretty irked by the sports science/medical team with his comments about it all being guess work about how much he can use players rather than it being objective.
Oh well, bring on Saturday. 3 up top it is.

Why ? His substitutions worked, he was making sure we kept the clean sheet and we did, I think had we been a goal down he might have used his subs differently.if Robins had any intention, he would have brought him on in the 2nd half yesterday -

Has there been word on Allen's injury?
There's only one thing that will open the door for Maguire, and that's impressing Robins in training.
Came off as a precaution but has been saying it’s sore which apparently usually means a muscle tear and a period out.
Has it been said what the issue is with Maguire? Just simply not good enough or..?

Even so, I’d have thought he would have been involved a fair bit more if he’s good enough.Since we signed Maguire Allen and Palmer have been in good form and then Eccles has come back from injury, with Allen & Palmer being out might now open the door for Maguire.

Well yeah, that's because of injuries though isn't it?
Overheard a co-coms who said we train with very high intensity and Robins has always done so.
If you look at Robins 6 year current tenure it’s not been littered with loads of players out with injury-yes of course we’ve had players out but it’s hardly a ‘thing’.
Teams get injuries, football’s a contact sport-obviously what we don’t need and what we don’t get to hear about are players who are playing with a known-to-management injury (& asked to play on regardless), hiding a niggly injury (but not telling management) or who are tired.
One thing we can lay at Robins door and that definitely does have an impact on injuries, is that he rarely makes subs of players who clearly look tired during a game.
Cannot underestimate this management of substitutes for keeping players injury free (even though this is a footballers job!).

It's not an exact science, but this season seems to have been particularly bad for muscle related injuries, which are much easier to avoid/manage.
I'd be surprised if they are saying before games 'x has a high risk of injury if you play them tomorrow' and Robins is just ignoring that unless you know something?
Robins isn't a doctor, the player himself will have wanted to see if he could continueLike Palmer at the weekend?
It's not exactly a new thing to see players who are injured on the pitch. See Dabo against Derby.
