Always fancied trips to Telford, aye.
Every little thing that goes wrong IS the fault of the owners. Look, they are the current custodians of our club and as such it is up to them to forge strong links with all parties who are in a position to affect the effective and proper running of the club. Did they do that? ......of course not. They are therefore totally responsible for our present state.Everyone knows SISU are shit owners and every can't wait to get rid of them. But what frustrates a lot of people is when every tiny thing that goes wrong is pinned on the owners, when actually these things are not entirely their fault.
Recognising that not absolutely everything is 100% their fault (Mowbray making shit signings with a competitive budget, Mowbray making daft substitutions, Wasps being arseholes, the council being arseholes), is not the same as people defending SISU are being an "apologist" or whatever the hell the latest daft label is.
If you cannot see that it is not the same thing, than you are a waste of time arguing because you obviously don't have the intellect to participate in a proper debate.

Are you stupid or are you crazy? Who is defending them??Why do people like you talk about 'Budget' ?? You don't know anymore about how that 'budget' is being passed down than the next man ! SISU have lied about almost everything for 4 years, they're destructive club killing cunts just trying for a soft landing. There will be a handful of dick heads still defending them to the last and thousands of loyal City fans holding their head in their hands soon saying we tried to warn you, some of us right from 2007 !

You're right about the budget. All I can go by is what was widely reported to be a top 6 budget last year, and this year Mowbray said it wasn't any different. So unless he's a liar.....
I disagree and will go dig it up where it was quoted as top 6. But fine, assume you're right, if we had top 12 and it's the same this year....is bottom of the league underachieving?Never saw anywhere we had a top 6 budget last season or this season. Mowbray didn't have a top 6 budget for this season. I have no proof per se but if you think he did then fine but deluded.
Based on this how did mowbray "underachieve?"
My best guess was he was given a top 12 budget and he got 8th. I call that a fair honest go at it with some real highlights in that season. Best for ages. Highest finish for ages.
Shame it is not in Sky Blue. You may not realise this but the world is actually in colour.
Shame it is not in Sky Blue.
It is obvious he was under achieving to anybody with eyes.
Still, people shout about his hands being tied and him the best manager we have had etc etc. Same people shouted about Thorn and his hands being tied.
Not many comment on his stupid substitutions or failing tactics though.

If only the council had made a firm offer to sell it for the £6.5m they sold it to Wasps. If only they'd have given it time to build trust when we came back from Northampton, like they promised they would. Didn't need hindsight to see what would happen when we sold to Wasps, it was absolutely bloody obvious.
And yet here people are, with pitchforks and torches about possibly selling the bloody training ground. Where were you then?
Torchy that is.Not excusing Northampton ?? Really, I bet you did at some point if I look back at posting records ?
Yes I'm not arguing with you we hadn't won a game this season and that's not good enough but to blame all that on mowbray isn't right. Does he have a top 6 budget? No one I've seen has proof what it is but it just isn't top 6. We more than likely have a top 12 budget and yes underperforming but in football you need time to judge and mowbray just clearly looked a beaten man and he was ground down. Just like every other manager we have had. Not one manager has succeeded here and in my opinion there is more to it than a few dodgy subs.

It is not blind hatred though is it?That's the thing though isnt it...even that deluded fool isn't "pro-SISU".
No-one that I know is, and noone i've seen on this forum. But that doesn't stop people from seeing past the pathetic "blind hatrid" that mean everyone points towards SISU for everything that possibly goes bloody wrong.
To be honest i don't know what can be "worse" than being in our current situation.
You may not realise this world also works around truths and untruths. Shame you can't see what Tonylinc is saying is the truth!
why can't people see that
The poor start this year is down, in large part to Mowbray, I don't know why people can't grasp that.
Yes sisu are running the club into the ground, but there's no way Mowbray was working with less resources that Flicroft at Bury or Alexander at Scunthorpe.
Mowbray took credit for the great start last year and he has to take responsibility for the poor start this year, no-one knows for sure what the budget is or how comparable it is with other clubs but I would wager that after Burys cost cutting over the summer Flicroft is working under greater restraints than Mowbray was.
You can blame sisu for many things, (most things), but some of Mowbrays selections and tactics this season were baffling.
Are you stupid or are you crazy? Who is defending them??

There's every chance that was a factor, the whole carry on at the club.
That's why I said Mowbray had to go. He was like a cork bobbing up and down in the sea with no direction or purpose. For me he lost the will to carry on quite early on this season so decided to quit.
You are defending them by putting a positive on the situation on their behalf,
Mowbray actually said it was 'slightly' less than last year so why say it was the same?
Unless you are trying to do the justifying for them while they remain quiet.
People should starve them of oxygen and they will go. Make them unwelcome and they will go. Stop talking to them like friends at matches and they will go.
Death by a thousand cuts.
I think the answer you are looking for Clint is "nothing"
Wasps have had nothing whatsoever to do with the mismanagement of our football club and the type of company they are has nothing to do with it either.

you've just ruined Italias weekend.Hmm....I very much doubt Wasps would want the club if it was wrapped in whipped cream wirh a cherry on top and delivered for free.

Ha, maybe we all look for a straw to clutch at.you've just ruined Italias weekend.
Ha, maybe we all look for a straw to clutch at.
Perhaps there's sky blue sheikh waiting in the wings to bung Joyless £80m for the club.
Or maybe we have to learn to accept that it's more likely the club goes under.
Somehow this doesn't seem the terrible option we faced when we had as a Championship club with ambitions of promotion.
How much longer will it be before we start envying the resurgence of Hereford?
