Yes but try getting past that fat bastard that shields him!
it’s more than likely that it gets handed back to the council and SISU go back cap in hand for a rental deal which more than likely sends us back just before the rent strike - only doubtful it’ll be 1.2 million.
best we can hope for in the circumstances
If wasps go bust the lease reverts back to the councilWouldn’t it be Wasps asset to sell? (Could we’ll be wrong, I know nothing on the subject). Can’t see us bidding against too many other buyers for it, if that is the case though.
No but can’t really see the council helping SISU out in the immediate future.I don't disagree. Doesn't that leave us in a stadium which isn't ours, with no income other than match day ticket sales ?
surely that cant be what people are hoping for when / if wasps go bust ?
No but can’t really see the council helping SISU out in the immediate future.
I’d imagine it’d be a starting point towards better negotiations
its about the best we can hope for while to court rulings continue.
If wasps go bust the lease reverts back to the council
There are no court rulings as it stands.
If any happen from the EU thing, it's the EU against CCC. IF the EU think there has been something done incorrectly.
Didn't say it was the owners taking them to court, but it wasn't the EU who wanted to look into it, it was instigated by the owners of CCFC
The court action only happens if the EU think there has been foul play or errors in the process.
exactly. No different to any other case, even if your 100% innocent of something, still a chance that a court might "think" something is up and worth a look into
Thing is, considering that the complaint is a look into state aid. If it’s found it is illegal then the council have bigger problems as to how an asset was undersold.would mean our landlords would be the people the owners of the club have triggers court proceeding (again) with and very little noise locally which the electorate is putting pressure on the council to do anything about.
I suspect if your an MP in Coventry and knocked on a random door and said "what's the main priorities you want to see from you elected MP in the next term "a return of CCFC to Coventry" would be a lot lower down than many of us on here would hope for.
Not really because the experts at the EU have to deem something to have been done wrong after an investigation before they take it further. The case would then be the EU against CCC.
It isn't the EU saying "Yeah go for it SISU, you can take them to court".
Prospective buyer wants the club and the stadium. Sisu market the club at a price that would include the stadium as it enables them to get rid of the club at a price close to their demands. The council then sell the stadium at a wasps style price to get sisu off their hands.Genuinely, can you explain how as im struggling ?.
Wasps go bust, stadium gets handed back to the council...
1) Council offer to sell it to SISU - why would they buy it at market value, nothing in it for them to do that.
2) Council offer us expensive rent - back to where we were.
3) council offer us cheap rent - Doesn't solve our problem of 365 days income to build a squad and SISU have no assets
4) Council almost give SISU the stadium - I just cant see it,
What do people think will happen that will benefit the club ?

Would I be correct in thinking that if the European Commission find that CCC undervalued the Ricoh AND the sale to Wasps was indirect state aid, then there is the possibility that CCC would be required to seek the outstanding balance from Wasps? The court action only happens if the EU think there has been foul play or errors in the process.
Prepare both deals to sign together. Although I wouldn't trust the council to properly evaluate new owners. They bought us sisu in the first place.could you talk me through that, as surely today, the club is worth nothing ?.
You suggesting, lets say SISU sell the club for £30m, they walk away and the council do a wasps like deal with new owners ?
Interesting comments. That would rely on CCC trusting the new owners and almost have to have an agreement with SISU they will do it if they leave ?

That is a potential remedy yeahWould I be correct in thinking that if the European Commission find that CCC undervalued the Ricoh AND the sale to Wasps was indirect state aid, then there is the possibility that CCC would be required to seek the outstanding balance from Wasps?
Now there's a lot of "IF's" to this scenario, but given the weak financial position of Wasps, this would surely send them into insolvency.
That would leave CCC with a stadium to maintain and no tenant. Thus any deal with a new tenant would have to ensure it was at a neutral cost to CCC, as minimum commitment, otherwise that could be termed indirect state aid.
Why would I drive to st Andrew's to ask questions from that wanker? I've had dealings with him before.Ah, the standard then
I am sure he has to walk in doesn't he?
They're not looking at Woodlands at all. Its just another a yarn spun to keep gullible fools like you on side.I mean they’re looking at woodlands. However the council aren’t supportive. But that’s only if you believe the new stadium rumours.
if you’re a bit dense like you appear to be - the actual way out of this is keeping the club running until Wasps cave. But we’ll leave that to the actual fans
Please share. Why would I drive to st Andrew's to ask questions from that wanker? I've had dealings with him before.
And what about if wasps don't go bust? How long are you lot prepared to sofa surf for? 5? 10 years? Why don't you start leaning on the owners to actually start taking responsibility for the club they own and build it a home.If wasps go bust the lease reverts back to the council
On one occasion He actually threatened to ban me from home games. We were playing in Northampton at the time ha! Stupid twat actually thought I attended there. Please share.
What did you ask him to warrant that?On one occasion He actually threatened to ban me from home games. We were playing in Northampton at the time ha! Stupid twat actually thought I attended there.

He I suspect has a one inch penis and it’s caused him a lifetime of embarrassment which he can hide by being a big man behind his keyboardyep following the normal pattern of someone who has been here before or is still here under another name full of it , slowly degrading , when did he join ? Oh yes , the true colours fall out in the end , it’s a yawn from me
It's dense arseholes like you who can't seem to grasp the fact that the council were in contact with the wasps before we moved out.Its dense arseholes like you who cant seem to grasp the fact that if we wouldn't of vacated the arena first time around wasps wouldn't be here now.
Well Wasps will probably be bailed out by someone, or the council will re-do the terms, and SISU will never build us a home so what's the solution? And what about if wasps don't go bust? How long are you lot prepared to sofa surf for? 5? 10 years? Why don't you start leaning on the owners to actually start taking responsibility for the club they own and build it a home.
Jeez. Always the victims.
And even if we'd kept up with the crippling rent, who wouldn't bet against the council brining Wasps in anyway for a ground share. Max out the potential and even more rent coming in.It's dense arseholes like you who can't seem to grasp the fact that the council were in contact with the wasps before we moved out.
Yes we all know that but that's before our glorious owners fucked off to sixfields with the plan of distressing acl thus leaving the ground on a plate for them. It's dense arseholes like you who can't seem to grasp the fact that the council were in contact with the wasps before we moved out.
Says the keyboard warrior on here who's been dishing out insults for years behind his laptop. He I suspect has a one inch penis and it’s caused him a lifetime of embarrassment which he can hide by being a big man behind his keyboard
