if wasps hadn't moved and carried one in their present form they would have eventually gone bust
Give it a couple of years and the same will be said again.
Can you not piss off and have your discussion on a Wasps forum.
It might be because it's late but has he failed to mention Eastwood? The Henley Alliance guy has got the Telegraph's Bobby Bridge to do this!!!!

Does it matter if its not done for the start of next season, its a training facility so surely they just move in whenever its ready?Wasps haven't applied for planning permission yet, they're cutting it fine for the start of next season especially if Sport England calls it in

Where they are training now?Where will they train if it's not ready?
Where they are training now?
Ah, I didn't know that, nothing a brown envelope or a corporate box can't sort I'm sure.Apparently they can't after this season.
Still can't see much sign of any Wasps fans discussing this on their forums. Maybe they just hope if they all bury their heads in the sand it will turn out OK.The Henley Alliance guy has got the Telegraph's Bobby Bridge to do this!!!!

Tbf to them this is the 3rd plan that's been sold to them. If I was in their position I wouldn't bother getting excited about itStill can't see much sign of any Wasps fans discussing this on their forums. Maybe they just hope if they all bury their heads in the sand it will turn out OK.
But given the damage it will cause has been featured on Midlands Today, CWR, Telegraph and Observer you'd expect some of their fans to at least question what was going on.Tbf to them this is the 3rd plan that's been sold to them. If I was in their position I wouldn't bother getting excited about it

As previously stated, and also highlighted by you I think CD, as a lot of them are not local, they have no idea that it is going on.... there was a brief mention on "Drunken Wasps" in the Match thread for the last Euro game which was summed up by one of them saying "I can't imagine Wasps would behave like this"... showing an ignorace of a lot of what has gone on here in Coventry.... this was quickly ignored....Still can't see much sign of any Wasps fans discussing this on their forums. Is the link to the petition on the Wasps forum? It might enlighten a few of their fans who don't know anything about it. I would post it on there myself but I am not a member. As previously stated, and also highlighted by you I think CD, as a lot of them are not local, they have no idea that it is going on.... there was a brief mention on "Drunken Wasps" in the Match thread for the last Euro game which was summed up by one of them saying "I can't imagine Wasps would behave like this"... showing an ignorace of a lot of what has gone on here in Coventry.... this was quickly ignored....
From what you see from any pictures of the crowd at the Ricoh, there seem to be a lot of middle aged females there having a beer - I'd imaging that they, and a lot of the local fan base go for the event and don't do any further interaction around social media/forums etc.... so again, limited awareness.... (Obvs could be wrong)....and of course this is coupled with the Cov Tel's (Waspograph!) totally biased coverage of Wasps too.
This guy who is part running the Henley Trust thing has done more in a couple of weeks, and got more on board that the SBTrust have done since Wasps arrived.
One tweet today in relation to one of their tweets, even mentioned protests at games!..... Little do they know that our local media would have nothing to do with publicising it.
One thing that strikes me from the media releases, is that Wasps Chief exec - Vaughan - the new guy, seems to think that conversations that have been had, seem to indicate that there won't be a problem with planning permission, so in true Wasps/local council tradition, what has been going on in the background????????..... more "greasing the wheels"...!????
Sure there was a post on Drunken Wasps also stating that (I think, by the looks of it, from somebody broadstreet related) they were out of BroadStreet at the end of the season, and the tone of the post did not look good... has there been another fallout there....?
One last thing.... (Yes, I follow a fair bit of what is going on on twitter....) a guy called KovBlog - (mentioned him before, does a lot of work related to helping people who get shafted by CCC's apparently poor/illegal parking system) intimated a falling out between Wasps and CCC too!..... worth having a look, those who can....
Do we think that things are unravelling (in a bigger way than what is on the surface) for Wasps!??!!?!?
Not a member myself, occasionally browse, especially after a defeat for them!Is the link to the petition on the Wasps forum? It might enlighten a few of their fans who don't know anything about it. I would post it on there myself but I am not a member.
can't remember who but somebody on here asked if I believed this new training ground would happen and my reply was i'll believe it when i see it.Tbf to them this is the 3rd plan that's been sold to them. If I was in their position I wouldn't bother getting excited about it
Can't be certain but I'm sure I've read somewhere they have given Broadstreet notice to leave in June 2020, have no idea if that means they cant stay on if needs be it would probably depend if they have already committed the space to something elseApparently they can't after this season.
I quite like the debate on here so probably notCan you not piss off and have your discussion on a Wasps forum.
Still be 30,000 there according to the attendance record
It would be interesting to know what proportion of their fans travel from ‘down south’ compared to local.

Judging by the comments on their twitter and online, it’s a lot higher than I thought.
well I assume the percentage is growing as the decline in attendance is from local people getting bored with it
yup see so many women going and few familiesYeah, was just going to post exactly that. The only local fans who stick by them appear to be middle aged women who aren't bothered about the outcome.
