100% this.

Vik alone now means that the squad / club has a value at which SISU can possibly afford to sell at and balance their books. Without that I genuinely think we’ll be stuck with them.

No fee of that size is going to be up front though. So would they balance the books and fuck off or just stick around another five years while it’s being paid off?

Im amazed Callum Doyle has impressed you all so much. He’s done alright, but most important signing is a bit much.

Got carried away about players progressing and included him and panzo. Not the most important of course.

They could factor it and cash it out probably, credit insurance and finance cost might be a bit but in any case, the workings of football finance would find a path (although that’s not the big picture).

It’s about saying: “we’ve got a squad worth (CBA to argue) £45m now, so pay us on the basis of that plus whatever else”

Kelly. We were mid table L2 until he came into the side and he pushed us up and into the play offs and then hot us back to the championship. Without him we would probably still be going to Rochdale and the like.

Who do you think MR would say if asked?
I wonder if he might choose a leader (Doyle, Kelly or fadz), rather than a goalscorer or a talisman?

I remember Kevin Keegan saying Brian Kilcline was his best signing At Newcastle.

Robins himself signing has been the biggest signing.
