Hopefully won't make a difference, but still frustrating. The officials have been truly embarrassing in recent weeks.

Anyone know what he said, must have been something a bit offensive/abusive to get a fine and ban.

Some of the decisions that have gone against us in the past few weeks, he's shown the patience of a saint.

It's a pity that some of the officials we've had recently can't get a 1 game ban.

What Bollox. When you have to suffer the sort of inept performances from the officials over the past 3 games like we have, you have to ask if the lunatics really have taken over the asylum.

They need longer than that.

They had a chat and the ref ran back onto the pitch, it what was whatever TM said at that point that got him banished.

Yea, you don't get a ban/fine though just for moaning or complaining about a decision though. Must have had some choice words to let the referee know what he thought of it to get a ban and fine.

Almost makes it of no benefit of keeping quiet if you get the same punishment for your first offence as you would if you were a persistent moaner etc!

Shit decision again by the FA / football league

He berated the ref for allowing Chesterfield to take there set piece before tudgay had taken his position after being subbed on , from which they nearly scored

looking at it on the day, it looked like an exchange of opinions, but the ref was going to let it go as he started to go back on the pitch, then TM said something, that was why he was sent to the stands.

My guess is the initial part was asking why he allowed the play to restart before the sub had got into position, the ref responded with his side, then TM must have said something that offended the ref. There are 2 glaring error here, 1) the Ref was wrong to restart play until the sub is in position 2) TM no mater how angry he was should not have lost his cool. Strangely only one of these will end with a 1 game ban.

The officials we have had over the last 5 -6 games have not just been poor (we can all accept mistakes/missing something) but we have seen a large amount of errors regarding the laws of the game. As a qualified ref myself, I will defend them to a certain point but basic application of the laws of the game I can't. How many foul throws have we seen in the last month, linesmen (can't call them assistants) not fit enough to be up with play or putting themselves in a poor position for dead-ball situations.

"It will even itself out over the season" sorry but never believed this, has anybody got any proof?

those 'pieces of work' Paul Tierney (ref)=the new Blatter, & Declan Ford (yellow flag=Platini ought both to be banned from all football related matters for 6 weeks & made to pay the fine for TM,
indeed the blatantly inept officials we've had for the last 12 weeks, should mean we get favourable decisions from now until the end of the season,
BY THE LAW OF AVERAGES,
& whatever happened to the protection of players, is it ok to have players consistently kicked all over the shop,
BLOODY WELL WAKE UP F.A. & smell the f***ing coffee

Hilarious some of youse are, some people moaning about it being " a shit decision" even though we have absolutely no idea what he said.

He admitted after the game he regretted saying what he did on CWR so he's clearly abused the match officials and he will rightly serve a one match ban if that's the case.

You can't deny its not a 'shit decision' though, surely? Other managers have said and done worse publicly and got away without a ban, especially when it's their first offence.

As long as he's made the FL aware of his frustrations in his submission, we may hopefully see some benefit from it.

Said and done worse in public, again you have no idea what Mowbray said, so what on earth is your logic here?

Might be good to have him see us play from up in stands. Better view of tactics and movement perhaps

But in fairness, neither do you. The way you speak it's almost as though he's threatened to kill the ref's puppy or something! I doubt Mowbray is the type to go round using too explicit a language, even when he's frustrated. He's been in the game too long for that.

I would agree with this. I wonder if CCFC video the games at the Ricoh at some vantage point. Structural content in chess is worth more than any piece. I wonder if the same applies in football?

TM has accepted it, move on.
This thread is like kids moaning about detention. Tough

Imo they should always be interviewed after a game and asked reasons behind their decisions. Shameful in a sport watched by billions and a sport which generates billions that they never have to answer for their actions.
