Poor from the start

No excuses

Murphy and Armstrong ruled out yesterday

Can't remember any clear cut chances for us

Southend defended well

No regrets on team decision

Understands the fans questioning the team decision

Ask the players whether they are strong enough, not me (50-50 challenges)

Have to stick together for the results

Every team has bad periods

Sounded so down in the dumps. Not angry just resigned to a woe is me approach.

Very defensive and avoided questions.

I've had a funny feeling that for about two months-ish that something is amiss behind the scenes. Could be wrong, but still...

Perhaps TM is having issues with personnel.

I think it more of a case that we have no plan B.

I think so too, don't think he will allow anyone to come along just for the ride, contribute positively or move on .

Mogga is suffering with a flu bug so that's made him sound worse than normal, but that performance has given me a headache !

He didn't though I don't think. If he was pissed off he would have been a bit more annoyed, but he didn't seem annoyed at all, just completely down and depressed.

Ah, just spotted the flu remark. May have some bearing.

At least he got paid, unlike the 1800 SBA who paid to watch that shite

Edit: I'm not saying TM is more worried about money than losing/football.

Definitely need to clear out Tudgay and Fortune and replace with someone that CAN score goals... also need some players that are prepared to roll up their sleeves (albeit short ones) and get stuck in ..before we had flair know we need to grind out results and take some pressure off

Just watched the interview on SB player and he doesn't even make eye contact with the interviewer. Seemed like more than just a bit of flu to me.

Jeez, get a grip all.

Theres fuck all going on behind the scenes. We have lost a couple of football matches. Oh and btw I think he's been a bit under the weather recently.

Nah don't think he's having any problems with personnel.

Uh, what?

Are you his PA, or something? Where are your sources for these 'facts', because you sure as hell present them like facts. Nobody knows if there's 'fuck all' going on behind the scenes, it's an opinion based on several factors: the lull in form and consistency, the lack of desire and fight, the stale tactics and TM's avoidance of key questions. Anyone is within their rights to speculate, I certainly didn't present my opinion as fact, like you did.

It's called an opinion, so if mine is so offensive to you, don't fackin' read it, me ol' sausage.

When mogga was WBA manager and they were thrashing teams I then watched his after the match interviews on the telly, and I used to think you'd think you'd lost the game not won 5-0.He is that sort of character that never really gets excited like Klopp for instance, and win draw or lose he stays the same in his manner. Yes he is suffering with a bug and did sound low,but he is a bit of a dour personality but that doesn't mean he's not passionate deep down.

I doubt there is anything serious going on in the dressing room (although obviously I don't know) BUT I had a chat with Jacob Murphy before the Oldham game, he was mingling with Sam Ricketts under the stand, (Ricketts was suspended for that game and Murphy was 'rested')
Jacob didn't look at all happy about being dropped, and I was swiftly moved on by his minder. So I am just speculating whether the rotation system TM is using for the forwards is affecting morale. (just a thought)
