Boro fans want him back
Gives them a 2 week head start to find someone I suppose. It was inevitable this would happen. What's the point of them doing that now?
He won't be the only Championship manager to be given the heave ho.Gives them a 2 week head start to find someone I suppose. It was inevitable this would happen.
More of a league 1 or 2 manager now I think, he doesn't need the pressureTony Mowbray, a true footballing man a a ledge of a bloke but his teams always falls away in the last third of a season and why the fook does he stick with mark venus…..
theyve made some bad choices with managers, should hvae kept cooper.I reckon Van Nistelrooy will be gone by next weekend.
Thorup at Norwich got his P45 today too. According to my son-in-law (who is a ST holder at Carrow Rd) the players were playing in a manner to get him sacked. They got their way.... Jack Wilshere in temporary charge. He won't be the only Championship manager to be given the heave ho.

I’d swap Simms for Sargeant although it sounds like he’s injury prone
Sergeant is a quality player and Norwich know it so he'll be sold for a fee way outside our price range.I’d swap Simms for Sargeant although it sounds like he’s injury prone
No idea where he lives but the Oggy role on his local station would be best imo. In his 60s and had health issues, I wouldn't be putting myself into another high pressure situation unless I had to.More of a league 1 or 2 manager now I think, he doesn't need the pressure
It was a firefighting situation really , takeover alleged, appears harsh but I guess a natural conclusion for WBA,new man,and a changed squad to come in I guess? He did well at Sunderland and Brum didn't he? This seems to be his first total failure and he wants even in charge that long really.
I wouldn't count him out personally

Let's hope this is true and Norwich up their game against Middlesbrough on SaturdayThorup at Norwich got his P45 today too. According to my son-in-law (who is a ST holder at Carrow Rd) the players were playing in a manner to get him sacked. They got their way.... Jack Wilshere in temporary charge.
I'd say Cov was a failure. Failed to finish top 6 with Armstrong, Murphy, Maddison and Cole. Then jumped before he was sacked the following season after 10 games failing to win a single game.He did well at Sunderland and Brum didn't he? And an amazing start everywhere usuallyI'd say Cov was a failure. Failed to finish top 6 with Armstrong, Murphy, Maddison and Cole. Then got sacked the next season after 10 games failing to win a single game.
Most places he's been he seems to have a poor back end of the season.
My sentiments exactly. Clearly, Venus has been poor when he has taken over here and at Brum. Like Robins when Adi left, you need a top quality number two.Tony Mowbray, a true footballing man a a ledge of a bloke but his teams always falls away in the last third of a season and why the fook does he stick with mark venus…..
Didn't get sacked resigned. Another example of relying on Venus who was put in charge of recruitment and screwed up.I'd say Cov was a failure. Failed to finish top 6 with Armstrong, Murphy, Maddison and Cole. Then got sacked the next season after 10 games failing to win a single game.

Not to mention some successful promotions at wba and Blackburn
He's clearly a better manager than most out there
Ok mate he's shitTbf he arguably had the best squad in the championship for the West Brom promotion in 2007/08 and the best squad in League One for the Blackburn promotion in 2017/18, in fact I've just found an article where Blackburn were favourites at 6/4 for the title before a ball was kicked.
No, just an average football league manager.Ok mate he's shit
I don't think the average football managers have promotions on their c.v do they? No, just an average football league manager.
