He’s done a brilliant jobThe sack. Talk Sport.
He's done a great job there.Sunderland have dreams of big things and why not, the success at neighbours Newcastle gnaws at them, Mowbray has done well there but not well enough.
Would be an insane decision.Haven't they lined up Francesco Farioli to take over as head coach
Spent next to nothing after promotion.Been without main striker more than half the season (scored 11 in 15, 10in 12 league games). young team.

£6m according to Transfermarkt spent, doesn't include a fee for Jack Clarke, Spurs spent millions on him in 2019 so I'd assume no less than £3m. They are big spenders compared to most at this level.

They spent £2m on Ballard tooI think Jack Clarke cost them a reported 4 million?

They must be minted punting that sort of money on traffic conesThey spent £2m on Ballard too
Surely they didn’t truly believe when the season started they’d be challenging at the top end. Might have had a bit of money but he’s had a young squad and injury problems including losing their star striker for half of the season, personally I think he’s done very well. Knee jerk reactions appear to be the norm these days for a lot of clubs. Hope it bites them on the arse and they sink like a stone.
The owner is about 12 years old, probably thinks he's playing football manager...If true this seems a bizarre decision. Are the owners of Sunderland deluded about the stage of development of their club? Mowbray isn't the best coach in the Championship, but he's done a pretty good job this season.
it was the same old Mowbray in the end - 5 minutes to go and let’s pass the ball around the back line
It's amazing how you can still be critical of someone after they have done a really good job of getting them even in that position. Let's hope we don't give you an opportunity to be smug about 'Robins failing' tonight or whatever tripe you come out with.it was the same old Mowbray in the end - 5 minutes to go and let’s pass the ball around the back line
This meme never stops being funny
They’re mental. I have it on good authority that he’s a premier league quality manager
Are we really ruining another thread with this Kenny Jackett rubbish? Why’s it allowed to pollute the whole forum?
