This is like when the daily mail reports something like 'experts say all kids should wear hijabs so Muslims feel comfortable' and people lose their shit about it. You look into it and the expert is the British federation of Hijab manufacturers or something and it's only put out there to whip up outrage, if everybody ignores the idiot we can all just get on with our day. Same in this case, we want all City fans at the game, even if it goes against what they've previously said.
