I dont blame them at all if the WASP club is close too liquidation and some council offers you a stadium thats worth £40 million+ for a very reduced price of £20 million I would snap their hands off
I'm convinced that it had nothing to do with legals and everything to do with delaying talks go put the club in a position where it has no choice but accept a significantly more expensive long term take it or leave it offer. That's the problem, why are Wasps saying SISU dropping legal action against CCC is a requirement for talks to take place over a deal between CCFC and Wasps?
And why did they start negotiations and then suddenly stop?
Why don't we move to the City of Rugby (ok it's a town I know!)
neither can I CD but the scenario I described would make it seem a CCFC/SISU decision to go and turn down an acceptable deal on the surface of it .......... even if some would always see it as that in any case........ The FA/FL may accept that but the CCFC fans might see it differently which could have serious implications
How many board members do they have to go through before we accept the constant is the ultimate owners... who also need to take responsibility for who they appoint, too.
No, it was a temporary location before they moved back to London. At least that's what their fans were constantly told.So Wycombe Wanderers stadium was London Wasps home ?
Remember before the Northampton issue Joy Sepalla didn't know ccfc existed, that's been admitted by her, once the adverse publicity and Government involvement occurred she got involved. The football club football wise means nothing to her, her appointments have simply not delivered on all fronts, why she continues with having a football club on her portfolio is a puzzle. You are right, NW. Joy has appointed a succession of incompetents to the board. Her judgement is highly questionable.

But is that our concern or between Wasps and their supporters ? They had after all been at Wycombe 10 years !No, it was a temporary location before they moved back to London. At least that's what their fans were constantly told.
They wanted WW to stump up for a new stadium they didn't really need that Wasps would also use.Thought they wanted to build a stadium in Wycombe but Wycombe Council stopped it ? I suppose I need to read their forum to get the real facts.
On the contrary, I think fans would be very interested, no credit being given again NickOf course, if it came down to it Wasps will come out with "We offered them a great deal" and job done.
Fans wont be interested in what the actual offer was, just that we didn't / couldn't take it.

Really shows how much we are again between a rock and a hard place. Sisu continue to be a bunch of incompetent lying b******ds, whilst wasps, the council, and others are seemingly making it impossible to stay in Coventry. We're (the fans) again stuck in the middle being shat on from all angles.

And here we go.....the refusal to place any blame or see any fault on anyone but sisu....Hang on a mo , Sisu , said We are building are own ground , sorting our own academy. How on earth is it anybody else fault ? Where is the refusal of the plans Sisu have submitted for this mystery new stadium ? If Sisu stop telling porkys the club would nt be in such a mess . Sisu need to start delivering ................ Simple.
Talking about their decision to move wherever they went. Our concern now has to be getting a regular home to play our football in and continue to be in the FL, chewing the fat on and on about where and what Wasps should have done solves nothing. We the supporters should be very much on Wasps case and sisu's case loud, publically and often where we stand. There is genuine concerns which is why imo Jim Cunningham MP has raised it.It's our concern if the consequence is to loosen the intrinsic ties of sporting clubs to place.

Talking about their decision to move wherever they went
Other people have acted their way , because they have taken Sisu s word at face value , Show me the new stadium and i might start to believe Sisu ..
I think sisu operate nopm regarding Mowbray's budget.
You ignore the facts on this. Wasps were minutes away from being liquidated only a few years ago and were renting an out of London stadium.
Its ironic that you tell Nick he is ignoring facts, when your post isn't factual. Wasps were never minutes away from liquidation, but if it helps to prove your point fabricate away.
So Wycombe Wanderers stadium was London Wasps home ?
You do realise if you correct people, it means you are happy with SISU though?
Wow !You know we've bought (as in 'paid for') two players recently?
It was one of several moves, but still within reasonable distance of their original home, you know London.
Wycombe was a stupid move, too.
Rugby clubs have made some stupid ones... they mostly end up going back home in some sense though.
Or, in Richmond's case, finding they couldn't sustain a top tier Rugby club so reforming at a lower level, and returning to their roots.
Now *there's* a model that should be welcomed.
It was one of several moves, but still within reasonable distance of their original home, you know London. I take it you will support CCFC when they do the same. Perhaps you can buy some land near Rushden in prep for more parking
But Nick some people will read every word and scrutinise every statement and offer, but theReally? Why is it when people were coming out making rental offers (like Michael did), when asking about the terms, numbers and small print people got angry for that being asked. Same as when people questioned the Hoffman one.
The majority of people won't be interested in the deal, just whether we are at the Ricoh or not. The small print and the terms won't be of any interest.
Wasps could say "rental deal for £1*"
*ha as if, it's going to be a million
And people will quote it as £1, skipping the terms.
But Nick some people will read every word and scrutinise every statement and offer, but the
Majority of supporters form their opinion based on headlines, buzzwords and hearsay that's
How it works, I'm not saying it's right, just that's how everything works.
Not sure why you don't / won't grasp this.
Well get off of here and let the rest of us get on with the "bullshit"Yes I am obviously a huge SISU apologist as I like arguments based on fact and not bullshit.
Booooooo Moff, what an apologist.
always amuses me when when everyone beats Italia with the "car park stick" whenIt was one of several moves, but still within reasonable distance of their original home, you know London. Agree, every side should be pressured. The council come out and make statements demanding money, but nobody really bats an eye.
