Interesting .... because most Coventry fans who were offered Let Down signs to take in accepted them, many actually asked for them. But when it came to the moment to use them, the view from the Hill was the same as yours: it seemed a very sparse response. I would like to hear what anyone who was in the Main Stand thinks about that.

Cardiff Fans were amazing though, it looked like very solid participation in the South Stand. And up on the Hill it was just brilliant tonight, so much noise, singing, banter and good fun. We were largely ignoring the football by the way which was probably a good decision.

It was my first time at ground last night and in general I don't feel any Joy while I was there, not like I would at any other Football match for instance.

The folk of Northampton are nice, the Food at the Ground was good and had reasonable prices compared to some grounds.

People on Twitter have mentioned the fans on the Hill and the atmosphere up there I must admit from where I was I couldn't hear a thing other than a bagpipe and a horn which I assumed came from the Hill.

The protest was okay in my opinion, it will be shown on a national scale, the fans on the hill who had the banners and stuff really did well and there was good numbers holding up signs and singing inside the ground, both City fans and Cardiff fans did very well.

The atmosphere in the ground was worse but predictably so, there were only 6/7 fans who sang and sang throughout the whole game and fair credit to them.

The stadium is what you expect of a League 2 Club, nothing more or nothing less.

Overall it was nice to see my Friends and who had also attended and had some good banter with Cardiff fans, other than that it wasn't enjoyable.

I have a ticket for the Sheffield United game but I am not sure as of yet whether I will attend as I felt passionless last night at regular points which had nothing to do with the teams or the fans itself.

Due to the ill feeling I had when I arrived at Sixfields I joined in with the protest and held up a sign.

Time to move the protest on in my opinion. Those on the hill for example would be better in the ground and seated around Fisher and Co keep the chants loud, clean and friendly. The hill has had it's day.

6 or 7 fans singing that just about sums us up, pathetic team, pathetic club, pathetic owners, pathetic protest by apathetic fans.

It was my first time on the hill last night, again didn't feel much Joy in being there. Fairly similar experience albeit very different!

Atmosphere was quite good up there and it was a good laugh. Doubt much could be heard from inside the ground, as all noise would just dissipate. Nice to chat with familiar faces and meet new ones (Deleted member 5849).

Doubt I will make it a regular think. It just makes you realise how awful everything is. Was good to go to the pub at half time, was very tempted to stay there and watch the rest.

2nd half it was like being at the gym. Running around the other side of the hill to watch all the game! Actually missed our goal though because a brighton fan with his south african wife were talking to us about the sad state of affairs.

Just a quick thank you to all who joined in the protest last night, the hillers were awesome, a large proportion of those going in did take the flyers so not sure why there appeared to be a reluctance to hold them up - this could be more how it looked due to the fans being more spreadout than the Cardif fans and therefore the effect was diluted. Handing out the flyers to those going in the vast majority took the leaflets with a message of support to the protest etc - only one charming lady wished me ill but sadly for her the Sky truck didn't run me down - so I definitely get the feeling that whilst there is a bit of them and us for some, for most we are all Cov fans each trying to do our best in different ways in the face of a shit situation. Hopefully we will be back at the Ricoh and once again all be united in supporting the team with one voice - ie slagging of managers, players, formations and forgetting about courts, escrows etc.

Big thanks to the Cradiff fans who told us this morning they were proud to join in, wished us all the best in our plight and thanked us for the songs of support from the hill - they could hear us loud and clear.

Overall we got some good coverage locally and nationally and it is important to keep our plight in the national conciousness or we will simply be forgotten and soon ignored totally.

Protest looked embarrasing and as predicted sky gave 15 seconds of showing the fans, and 1.30 minutes of talking about the problem.. wow! Time to move on and look at a different alternative as 70 people on a hill does fuck all.

One thing from seeing it on TV was a bit of confusion about when to hold them up. It seemed to start on around 33 on the sky timer.

From the hill we were waiting for 35 minutes but the Welsh lads seemed to go early - must be they are on a different foreign time zone so it was then a question of leaving them to protest on their own or give them support. We opted for the latter - Daniel the piper was superb and the Last Post just summed up the fact we are in Last Chance Saloon. For statisticians the counted number on the hill were 146. Funniest was from the hill there was a big block of around 50 fans decked out in Sky Blue sat to the left of centre - funny because they were actually the Oslo Ladies football team who had been playing Leicester City ladies that day and were there as because of Solskjaer. We chatted to them before the game - not distracted from flyer handing out at all!!!

Actually the funniest was when Reda was walking to do some PR stuff with clubs commercial manager Tynan Scope and Reda taking an offered flyer and keeping it (legend in the making?) - Tynan reacted well with a smile and a look of mock panic lol.

Anyway, would rather we didn't go down the road of who did and didn't protest, as that's the surefire way to make nobody do it in the future.

The woman that wished you ill wasn't RFC's wife, Fisher's wife, or even septic herself was it?.....By the by, whoever she is, she's a f**king disgrace, and shouldn't call herself a CCFC fan. Watch the team at Sixfields by all means(If that's your want) but don't slag off someone who is trying to make a difference. Enough has been said about fans "Having a go" at those that attend Sixfields...Let's see if anything is said about this disgraceful act?

I know from overhearing conversations on the club coach that some people do say that protesting gets in the way of their enjoyment.
But in reality I suspect they are in the minority.
I have also noticed on several occasions fans buddying up to Fisher at away matches and that really gets my goat.

Really, season ticket holder for 20 years, missed 3 away games in blimey pushing on 9 years now so not a proper fan no?... away only for me pal, none of this bullshit 70 out of a fanbase of 20k plus sucking up to SISU in private meetings and not coming out to say whats gone on..

None of this plastic hand held cards asking for change.. won't get you anywhere.

I applaud those who try, but for me, the trust just are not mentally strong enough and are far too much in SISU's pocket, we want to protest... but we will do it through Coventry., we want to protest., but we will do it on a hill watching the match for free.

Last night 993 Coventry fans attended... no matter what the opinion of the trust or anyone else for that matter, last night was the final chance to embarrass SISU , sadly... we missed that opportunity.

Unless Sky Sports News and all the national newspapers have it on the back pages today of last nights protest??

CCFC is still in my heart but only just. If, as one poster has said on another thread, SISU have bought land to build a stadium on, then CCFC as we all know it will be dead to me. No stadium will be built within Coventry City boundaries, therefore in my eyes does not represent Coventry. It will then be time for a pheonix club (Coventry City AFC) to be formed albeit from a lowly league.
