Just a quick one anyone have any idea what his plans are now ? surely tm will want to bring in his own backroom staff if not now at the end of the season..

McFarlane was picked up on this on CWR last night. If I recall correctly, he said something along the lines that he'd had a long chat about it with Mowbray and was intending to stay on.

Unless Mowbray thinks he's a negative influence I can see him staying until the end of the season, past that will depend on how well they get on and if Mowbray would rather have someone else in. Does Mowbray have a regular partner in crime?

Yes, Mark Venus has been with him at Hibernian, West Brom, Celtic and Middlesbrough.

He probably has a contract, so my guess is he will stay until season's end and maybe longer. Cannot see Mowbray being allowed to bring anyone in during his 8 weeks.
